@@Sambucashot100 yeah my initial thought was the black would blend in better with the black screen and hence make the bezels less noticeable, but judging by videos from Joey's Retro Handhelds, the black really doesn't quite hit the mark uniformaity wise because the screen is glossy, and it's gonna get smudges for sure. Plus I'll be using dark mode in android anyway and will probably just get used to the bezels, grey on the other hand is gonna be smudges free, and those leds lights when turned off blend in perfectly with the grey body.
Tencent were behind this this time so they could get the chip. By the way, can you test metal gear 3 on 3ds? that game is running like sliders on odin1
Looks absolutely stunning. Could you please try honkai star rail on it. Im thinking of buying one if it performs well. Im also wondering whats the highest quality it can play and how hot it becomes.
I choose the white one, but i'm planing on switching the ABXY butons for custom PS buttons and the grey color is perfect for that! Very close to the good old PS1, now i'm not sure what to do lol
The white looks nice as is, dont change the buttons. Only problem i have with the white is it getting dirty. I got the grey and plan on switching the buttons to PSX when Sakura Retro Modding makes them..
for game suggestions, is it okay if you test some games on winlator or box64? while I hope to see Need For Speed Rivals and Sims 2, any game would be great hahah
Can you try out some Wii games. And maybe Wii u if possible, like the wind waker HD remake. Not many Wii games tested on it that I've seen lol. Also if you do a PS2 game test, try Call of duty 3 it seems it's a hard to emulate and run game for PS2 emulation.
can the led color (behind the joysticks) be turned on and off? is there any chance that in the future the color can change and be customized with future software updates? Thanks
So is the basic Odin 2 not worth getting. It seems like all the ones reviewed are all the pro or max versions lol. I got the base one because it was still better then the any neo air pocket. Which also decided to have a price drop. Or maybe people cancelled their orders for the odin 2 not sure.
Hi, hope you can test for battery performance and which emulator to use best for switch and ps2 , pls and thank you ,I currently waiting when they ship out the odin 2 pro ,on my order and I got this cold Grey, too
Perfect size for travel needs and the battery life is next level. If you’re ok with emulation (retro, PS2, GameCube, Switch,Wii) cloud gaming or remote access, then this is the one. If you’re wanting to emulate PS3, Xbox 360, Wii-U and play AAA gaming, then ROG and SD is the right choice. Just keep in mind the size and low battery life.
Hi there everyone, thanks for watching my unboxing of the AYN Odin 2 Pro! What do you think of the color? Which color did you back? :)
Got the same color. Glad you shared. I think your the only one on TH-cam that has this color. Mine coming November. Great review 🎉
I'm a sucker for purple, so ordered that one. Although, the white was a close 2nd.
I got this model/color exactly, definitely excited for this video.
White - ____^
Its nice to finally see someone review the color I chose. It looks real good!
The shoulder and triggers buttons should be dark gray as the joysticks for a perfect contrast
thanks for the video, cant wait till mine comes
I had to switch to cold grey after this review. Such a good looking device
finally a video with a cool grey unit. can't wait for mine to be shipped :) thanks
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts between the pocket air and odin 2. ( build quality wise, ergonomics, software, etc). Cheers for the unboxing!
Cold grey would be my 2nd choice the white varient just looks super clean imo
I changed from black to cold grey because your video lol, looks absolutely amazing. Are you able to test Warriors Orochi 4 with Yuzu?
You won’t regret changing :)
I am contemplating this now also. All those smudges on the black Odin 1 annoyed me no end 😅

Agree, I've changed my order to the cold grey .
hello!best video-work.

I’ll see what I can do!
I wish they would have made the triggers dark gray like the d-pad and joysticks
Just ordered the grey Odin 2 max 👍
Awesome!
i can't decide which color i want, I like them all
This video made me change from Transparent Blue to Cold Grey.
I’m glad I’m seeing this after ordering the Odin pro 1 🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️ geez lol

do you know someone making custom buttons already?
I think the white is a good choice. The white bezels around the screen look great.

I got the cold grey max. Cant wait til its in my hands and all the haters rush to get one after. 😆
We're waiting on the same model! Soon!!
Definitely love this color 😍 Is the screen protector included or do I need to purchase it separately?
Yes it’s awesome :) you need to buy it separately. Screen protectors for Switch Lite works great.
@@Techcravers Thanks for the suggestion!

Yes you can turn them off.
The base model is fine for emulating Switch. Very few games user over 8 GB of RAM and they run atrociously bad anyway.
Can I charge my odin 2 with a 67w charger? I don't want to burn it haha
I want the cold grey sooo bad but my bank and credit card company wont let me buy anything outside of the country. I tried about 20 times.

Base version is good enough unless you want the best performance possible on GameCube or Switch
Can you try COD Reflex or MW3 on wii?
Hi, hope you can test for battery performance and which emulator to use best for switch and ps2 , pls and thank you ,I currently waiting when they ship out the odin 2 pro ,on my order and I got this cold Grey, too
Switch Emulation 4 hours and Gamecube 10 hours!
I got a super fan cold grey pro and in in the 200s, hopefully I’ll be getting it soon!
Honest question, why buy this over the SD or ROG Ally?
Perfect size for travel needs and the battery life is next level.

I havent seen anyone use the xbox emulator on it. I would like to see Morrowind, Shenmue 2, Otogi 2, and Halo.
Thanks for commenting! Would love to, but unfortunately, there's no Xbox emulator for Android atm!
Is there ways to play Diablo 2?
I cant wait til its in my hand my odin 2… 😢😢
Can you try out...
