Idk how anyone thought I could have been an error in the first place. It is reflecting the movie plus big ticket box office movies like this will never have an error that apparent, especially on the logos
9:36 as a teenager in the mid 90s you'd be surprised at how much I got the "what are you crazy" or " do you not like her?!??" comments by both teen boys and girls for NOT taking advantage of a vunerable or drunken vunerable girl who needed a friend to talk to
For the sin saying Tree fears death every time she dies, I think it comes from the fact that she learns later that there are still physical consequences done to her body by the next loop. Meaning, it is possible after some many loops, Tree would not be able to physically move
Also, as one of the X-Men comics pointed out when Wolverine was being self-destructive during one of Jean's deaths, healing from injuries doesn't mean they don't hurt, and it's going to take a hell of a lot of loops for an ordinary person to lose that instinctive reaction to the imminent prospect of mortality.
"Hey Officer, my roommate is crazy and I think she's trying to poison me could you please get toxicology to test this cupcake?" I feel like that one might have worked. Even if it doesn't, she has literally infinite tries to get the cops to believe her.
@@Gundam_JAY But police, HAVE to take things seriously. That's the point, if you call 911 or even the non-emergency line and say "Hey I think I got a poisoned piece of food can I bring it to the police station for a toxicology test?" they would have to at least allow you to come down and be humored. Now if you were calling them to waste time like "Hey my sorority housemate keeps trying to give me cupcakes" I don't think they'd trouble themselves and visit but rather just say "Just tell her to stop."
@@Gundam_JAY except the police are trained to take every threat to life as seriously as possible. why else do SWAT teams raid streamers houses cause one guy decided it'd be funny?
Not infinite, as she was getting more and more hurt every time. Plus, while police should take everything seriously, you're naive if you think they all do everytime. Ask Dahmer's victims. Oh, wait...
If there’s one thing I can’t stand, it’s a film critic who claims that they saw the twist coming at the end. Even if the did “see the twist coming,” no one cares. Also, perfect use of the Peter Griffin “Oh my god who the hell cares?” It pops in my head all the time when listening to Jeremy asking pointless questions.
I can’t believe how far off my original prediction was for this film. I originally thought why she could not figure out who her killer was because it was a different one each day making it nearly impossible to catch him or her. But I was waaay wrong.
that would make an alsome movie. Like image your in a death loop but its not one killer, like its final destination levels of everyone is out to kill you, but you justr cant die
And I thought, as ad after ad for this movie was force fed to me by YT, that it was even more supernatural than just a Groundhog Day loop and the killer was actually a haunted baby doll rather than a person in a mask.
"Imagine a 2-and-a-half hour movie of a dude going to work all day, coming home, going to sleep, and then it ends. That's a realistic movie, and that's what you've been asking for all these years. Everything else is too convenient, a cliché, the power of boners, and not enough lap dances." Oof, BURN! Birdman, are you sure you were not Hanzo Hasashi in another life?? Lol! Loved the video like always!
Random comment/interesting fact: the writer of this movie (Scott Lobdell) was also the writer for a DC comics team called "Red Hood And The Outlaws". What does it have to do the video itself? Nothing, I just wanted to drop some interesting facts for a change. Moving on.
I remember when I originally saw trailers for this movie, I was expecting it be pretty shit, or at least mediocre. But when I actually watched, I really loved it. It's more than worthy of the timeloop genre. I've since watched the sequel and the first one a second time, and I wouldn't mind watching them both again in the future.
Like a good slasher/guess-the-killer should. It doesnt throw in some last minute explanation flashback to stuff that happened out of shot or between scenes. The pieces are there but subtle enough that most wouldnt pick up on it on a first watch.
I dont watch trailers for any movies until after I've seen them(except for Marvel teasers bc I trust they won't spoil the movie) and I hadn't heard of this movie until it was available to rent but I definitely wouldn't have thought that was a theater error. Really loved this movie and the sequel was ok too
Same. More often than not trailers spoil the good parts or can be incredibly misleading (Ouija's trailer had scenes and shots that werent even in the friggin movie)
You are amazingly lucky, to have managed to not see a trailer for this movie as a person who watches TH-cam videos. I feel like I saw the entire thing because of all the unskippable ads for it.
Now imagine if the next sequel of a movie series that you really like comes out, and somewhere in the movie there is a 2 minute uncensored and completely uncut lap dance scene with not background music at all. Would that make the movie worse because it's out of nowhere? Or would it make it better, because it makes absolutely no sense and becomes humorous?
its stupid that youtube recommend an old video and not the new one you just uploaded in the last 24 hours im glad you do those community post other wise would not have known this was here
5:01 i was joking when I saw it in theaters for the first time but i lucked up 😂😂😂 I literally said " i would have killed her too for throwing away my cupcake"
What annoys me about this movie is that it is completely undone by the sequel, which (stupidly, I might add) throws in the plot point that the loops are caused by science mumbo jumbo.

Hehe
Lol, todays my birthday woo
Nope 😎
actually it was yesterday
classic use of the looping at the end there, my guy.
CinemaSins saying Lori is a bad killer when her plans to kill Tree literally worked everytime but the last is asinine.
Also you know her original plan
CinemaSins complaining about bad jokes is the highest form of irony.
For sin 1, it doesn’t even look like an error, the flash of light and lack of stuttering is too clean
The only logo that actually looks like an error is for the movie Unfriended.
@@kylesmyle4233 you got that right 😣

While yes there are a lot of solutions this is a slasher movie so all logic (or most of the logic) shall be thrown out of the window
Ok 🤔 but if ur on the other line and the call is coming from a college student on a random day of work. I'm sure you wouldn't take it seriously

So Jeremy calls her the worst killer in slasher history yet... she always successfully killed her mark. Not her fault her victim would get a do over
This movie constantly kept you on your toes and I loved that.
😁 me too
Love the repeating sin total there at the end.
Felt like nightmare to me lol. Started to get triggered as it kept looping but it stopped, so
Lol I started cracking up it was perfect
I thought my internet was messing up. Took me awhile... don't judge me!

Jeremy's dumbass would probably watch someone get hit by a train and think, "Why didn't the conductor hit the brake?"
I love this movie and the 2nd one, I can't wait for the third one whenever that comes out
Did you watch Freaky? Apparently it's set in the same universe as Happy Death Day
Oh my god yes! I hope we get the third one in the not too distant future. Jessica Rothe is fucking awesome.
Third film has been confirmed as of Nov 2020.

the ending wa~
The ending deserves a chef’s kiss.
As much as I loved this video, part of me was sitting there the whole time going “they…named the main character…Tree? Tree? Wtf is that?”
Its later revealed in the film that Tree is short for Teresa.
I really enjoy watching everything wrong with CinemaSins...and I haven't bothered to watch CinemSins itself in years. That's talent.
I'm starting to think CinemaSins would never figure out that he's in a time loop if he was put in one lol.
That sin tally ending repeat was quite genius
My mind is low key blown about trees and global warming. I mean, it makes total sense, I’ve just never thought about it
The ending loop was a nice touch Birdman it started to creep me out 👌🏽
This was a real good movie. Better than I was expecting

This movie was a pretty good surprise. Still haven’t seen the sequel

Yep
While I didn’t have her pegged, but I guessed the killer. The movie did make it difficult to actually know, but leaves enough to piece it together

7:40 Can confirm. One time I experienced 6 false awakenings in a row, but it took about 3 before I realized it was basically a loop.
Did...did Jeremy really just asked how Tree found put there was poison in her cupcake?
Damn that sentence build up is unnerving on loop.
You know, I'd have had a chuckle if the closing loop gag had slightly different numbers each time.
Can you sin CinemaSins for sinning Friday the 13th? And give them 70 sins for even sinning those movies? Thank you.
Friday the 13th after the 2nd one deserves to be sinned. jason x is an abortion is putting it mildly
I should have seen the Sentence gag coming but it still delighted me
Love the videos man keep them coming
Surprised jer didn't sin her name "Tree" lol
Parents were Seed?
Good video Th3Birdman 🙂
At the end when you keep redoing the sin tally, I was starting to feel it like a beat.
I love it when he uses that Family Guy clip.
I despair for humanity for how many subscribers cinema sins has 😨
