      Gasoline is better because of density, but I am not using water to wait for it to leak down! I am using pressurized air and the water is just to see the air leak! You would have better results with isopropyl alcohol The surface tension is lower it will be better at penetrating any small gaps and it will evaporate away with heat or ambient temperature for the more it doesn't create corrosion when a small few drops get left behind😅

    This could give good results depending on how plmuch psi you run through that air chuck. Valves hold pressure from the opposite side that what you're blowing on, akd too much pressure could overcome the valve spring depending on how concentrated it is.

      @midnightrider1854 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not to be a smart ass, (like most answers on here) but if there was a weak spring wouldn't you want to catch it now? Just serious food for thought.

    • @secret8440
      @secret8440 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@midnightrider1854 sure, but thats not a compression test. Compression comes from inside, not outside the engine. If a cylinder head is out, you should replace the springs anyways, especially if there was a temperature issue. Sorry for my English, is very bad.
