This build was designed for both PvE and PvP; Whichever way you decide to play this build will function great for both! It is a more OP Build in PvE than PvP.
Similar to the Rivers of Blood Katana, Eleonora's poleblade is a Arcane/Dex weapon that relies on bleed. However; the weapon art is no where near as strong as Corpse Piler...It does look very cool though!
Using 2 secret sauces that we'll go over in the video; We can make Eleonora's poleblade Weapon Art "Bloodblade Dance" shine!
The first sauce is Dragonbolt's Blessing; an incantation that increases ailment resistance (Scarlet Rot, Bleed, Death, Madness, Poison, Sleep) AND makes any uncharged 1handed or powerstance light attacks and heavy attacks (except for a few weapons like Whips and Colossal Weapons) bounce on impact; This will allow you to set up Bloodblade Dance while they are staggered.
The second sauce is Urumi; a Slashing Whip that allows you to equip Ashes of War such as Bloodhound Step or Thunderbolt to chase down your foes!
The most optimal starting class for this build is Prophet but is not necessary.

This is the best guide I've seen for the poleblade, I loved how you had level 50 through 150 to show how it starts and where to put your points

I want to say I commented saying “this build does 0 damage in PvP” and I want to correct myself. I just sucked ass at the game I’ve been playing more and more PvP and let me tell you build is 🔥🔥

Subbed and liked the video. Been looking for a direction I wanted to take my Eleonora's Poleblade build that would serve me well for pve and pvp, and you just gave me the best one yet. Thanks for the clear and concise information.
Just wanted to say that this is my first Souls game and that my friends got me to dive right into it. Started with a greatsword but felt like I relied too much on just cheesy big hits while playing rather sluggishly so I changed my mind.
Did a dual dagger power stancing one and definitely felt my gamer blood pumping and got hyped so much for bleeds and all that jazz for pvp.
But I really felt like twinblades were my thing if that makes any sense. Started over again and did a dual dagger with a twinblade bleed-type, defo like how it feels to two-hand the twinblade. I just needed to find the so-called secret sauce you happened to mention.
Tl;dr I'm adapting this build and making my own tweaks to it. Gonna do some calculations to min-max what the stats would look like at lvl 125 (me and my friends decided to stick to this) and decide if I should start over as a Prophet instead of a Bandit.

I would love to see you doing a Hand of Malenia build video. Many people like that weapon because of the awesome art. It really sits in the shadow of Rivers of Blood and other bleed weapons in the current meta, but oh man. It is cool af.
One of the really nasty combos you only know trough experience in the game is bestial sling + lightning bolt immediately afterwards. It almost eliminates the wind up time and you can easily deal more than 800 damage in a go if you catch people with it

Crazy I beat Malenia with this weapon before the patch. I like it and pair it with God Peeler cuz the air L1 attack is like 4 hit combo.

I'd use the White Mask instead of Lord of Blood's Exultation. And thus put in Shard of Alexander at all times.
I just need someone to explain why one point in arcane for the poleblade increases its damage (I'm at 50) but 3 points in dex does absolutely nothing (21)? It's scaling is "higher" with dex, but it's not.
On 1.0.5 patch this blade nerf blood points on 33. Yes?
Damn shame that flame grant me strength does not stack with dragonbolt blessing

Is a blood build with red dragon lightning incantations feasible without overleveling?
Red dragon incantation takes a bit of faith investment. I'd probably bump up to 180 for a build like that so you can maintain a good dex/arcane ratio as well. Not sure if that is considered overleveling
@@VarsonaVyzelta Fair enough, it's higher than I was wanting, but about what I'd expect. I wanted a red color themed build and the bleed with ancient dragon lightning just sounds really cool to me.
my level is 210 should i invest to arcane to 80 or stop arcane to 60 and focusing in dex stats?
I felt stopping at 60 arcane was fine and focusing more onto dex was a better option. Being able to do more damage from non bleed sources has been real nice

Too much dex, too less arcane and Vigor, Powerstancing with another Twinblade with more bleed build up would be better and you forgot white mask... no idea why people call this build any good but i guess its their first souls game

Without it people will put together whatever they feel like, just like u did. people looking for a build want to see what a optimized version looks like to adapt things they were missing out on. you are literally griefing peoples progress for clicks. xD
@@emsxing5730 I'm not very sure if you have to be optimal to beat any of the souls game. They've been very flexible in allowing you to clear the game in a variety of ways. The main goal of my builds is not only to make something that works; but to also to introduce players to more ways to play the game or look at systems; give people starters fun ideas to create new build variety.
Mentioned in the video; the dex and arcane allocation allows a player who wants to be well rounded to make Urumi lightning for non bleed enemies. I also did mention the White Mask as an option if one doesn't care about style. From testing; I don't find the white mask very useful for pvp as people will die immediately from bleed anyways.
As for low vigor; I get this all the time. In my main build I run 35 vigor with no chest armor and I have only ever been 1 shotted twice in actual play; both times were dodgable. Perhaps at a higher level bracket the 35 vigor would be insufficient due to the natural defensive scaling you get per level but at this bracket it has been fine for play.
