HSP has been sitting for a couple of weeks so this is a procedure on what to do to restart it for the car sitting awhile. And also a tip how to adjust second gear not engaging.
Fyi if your using traxxas fuel there's no need to add 3-1. Traxxas fuel has so much oil in it like 16%. I us 30% nitro 8% oil starting and tuning is so much easier.. Traxxas fuels will prematurely wearout your engine .. Also I recommend os LC3 glow plug for small engine.
@@Yousef_sk81 more towards the end of this video I'll show you how to adjust the slipper clutch you turn the Allen key a quarter turn till it goes in second gear whenever you're on full throttle.
If it dies the moment you hit full throttle it's usually a sign that your high end needle is too lean (ie, it's not getting enough fuel to burn). Try turning your high end needle anticlockwise a full 360 to richen it. Then when you have it running lean it out 1/8 (clockwise) each time until your getting max performance.
If I'm wrong and its way too rich then the engine will sound like its drowning/gurgling, but usually it wont cut the engine, it'll just sound a bit ruff
Thanks my dude. I will try this asap. My kid is becoming impatient with me. I figured it be like tuning a high compression dirtbike with a race carb, boy was i wrong.

Did you prime it and check the glow plug? There's several things that could be wrong but usually the needles are set from factory.
