    Hands down the best Vertx product video on TH-cam (including the videos Vertx put out), and I think I’ve watched them all. You did a perfect side by side comparison. Doing it with the outside we are able to see every detail of both bags. I sincerely appreciate the time you took to do this. I’ve been on the fence for months and actually decided not to get one. Then, I watched this and it helped so much that I’m getting the commuter. Thank you and phenomenal job.

    Thanks for doing this video. I've been needing to see a video where they do a side by side of the commuter and the transit bag. Trying to decide which to two to get as a Range bag for my 2 pistols. So far it looks like it might be going with the commuter bag. Simply because I have a pretty good size First aid pack with a tourniquet? Not huge, but if it takes some room.

      I am currently trapped between these two. I'd like to know is the Commuter is too bulky for everyday use. Also, would the Transit be able to contain a folding SBR AR with 6.25" barrel with mag? I saw the Kel tec and am curious if it would fit in the transit without much bulk or problems retrieving it. Thank you for your time.

      Black Bullitt actually it is. I’m a lefty. For drawing a gun, put it on the bottom part of the pack with the grip end towards the bottom. This way when you swing it through your right armpit, you can unzip it from the bottom part of the bag and draw of course with your left 👍 works just as well

    Good video - thanks for posting it. Haven't been able to find one locally to check them out in person so have a few questions: Does the Sub2000 fit in the Transit bag? Could you fit a Sub2000 and a Glock 19 in the concealed compartment of either bag? Do you ever wish the bags had 2 shoulder straps after carrying it for a while?

    Great video bro. I'm looking for a nice EDC bag that will carry my sub-2000 when I want to and glad I found your review. I considered the smaller Transit but now see the commuter is what I should lean towards. Do you have any experience with the Condor Sector sling pack? Would like to get your take on it as well. Also, with the sub-2000 how long can you comfortably wear the pack while carrying that and any other necessities? Thnx and keep up the great work,

      MacArther Nelson thanks for watching! I keep around 15lbs of edc gear with me at any given time in these packs. When the Commuter is loaded up with the Sub 2k, I really didn't feel that big a difference. It may be due to the wider shoulder strap on the Commuter, I find it to be very comfortable.

    Been looking at these bags. By far one of the best overviews for these bags!
    The comparison was good for me to contrast between the two.
    Question for you. Do you think the BAP - Belt Adaptor Panel will work good with an existing OWB kydex holster if also caring a laptop? I'm thinking the MPH may be better since there's more "give" and not much rigidity on that back panel.

    • @dnizzle80
      @dnizzle80  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Choice Crosby thanks for the feedback and I appreciate you watching the video. To answer your question the best I can...I would say the BAP with a kydex holster will certainly work with a laptop in place but will most likely add a considerable about of "bulk". I would imagine any kydex holster used will add at least an inch of bulk in the area as you have to account for the belt loops and curvature of the holster. That being said, Vertx designed these packs to be loaded out however and with whatever you choose. The question really is how much bulk are you willing to carry around with? For me, I wanted the pack to stay as thin as possible so I went with the MPH which stays flatter, still has good retention on the firearm and allows for WML (weapon mounted light). I hope that helps. Thanks again for watching.

  • @grumpyoldphart7325
    @grumpyoldphart7325 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I own and have stopped using the EDC sling bag. It is just not practical. After a few months of use the bag loses it shape and the zippers do not go around the corners. The laptop area is not functional if you want to carry a netbook or tablet as there is only a strap and no sleeve. The grab handles are also difficult to use. Lastly you have to buy added stuff to organize like the CCW sleeve. There are better alternatives at much lower prices. Bag has potential but after a few months use I would not recommend this bag given the price.
