Tbh I purchased this bag after seeing your first video review about this bag without the intention of any concealed carry. I don’t even own a gun, I just love how convenient it is to swing the bag into the front, it’s handy when traveling.
I just have to say thank you. I ordered the QVO holster attachment for my Gamut. I run a safariland set up. I can go from my car, to my bag, to my bedside. All with these mounts. Again, thank you.
I like that you can have multiple options with that vertx bag. I will say that at first I was against off body carrying, but in certain circumstances I can totally see it functioning quite well. I am digging the multiple video uploads! Keep them coming Señor Talon.

I like to try and get a QVO OWB holster but they don’t have make the holster for guns I have. This world be great set up for Ruger Alaskan when in the outdoors.
I have been kicking around the idea of buying a Vertx bag for awhile now because I have been riding a mountain bike to the gym and its hard to appendix carry. My issue is how much retention do those tactigami holsters have? I would hate to need the gun and it's bounced out of the holster. I love the idea of a kydex holster with trusted retention.
Any recommendations for a glock 17 with a light i currently have a phlster flood light and was going to get the belt attachment from vertx tactigami line but alot of people seem to not like them for retention and draw
Nice, I like it. It would be a great way to carry a bigger or heavy gun. My SS 1911 is heavy and large for CCW in the hot summer months. This would be a great option.
I would love to see you do a review on Black Arch Holsters. They do a lot of hybrids but also just came out with an option for the velcro here as well. I am torn between them and QVO for my vertx bag.
Did your bag have a loop inside the concealed portion along the top edge when its slung across your chest that nearly perfectly aligned with your draw? Mine does and I don't understand what it is for or what they were thinking. My thumb catches it occasionally messing up my draw.

Something that reviewers of this type of setup fail to mention is how uncomfortable the Vertx bag is with the bulge it makes and presses into your back. I found that out with my EDC Ready Pack. The tactigami holster is garbage and would not recommend it for anyone. I tried a similar setup to this review with GCode RTI and vehicle hook and loop. It worked but was very uncomfortable bulge along the kydex wheel along with it being expensive. Curious to hear the comfort level of this new QVO hook and loop backer. Right now I am using alien gear shapeshifter hook and loop with glock 43 and it is much more tolerable than the GCode setup. Perhaps the sling in this video is more forgiving than the EDC Ready....I plan to order a QVO in the future for OWB purposes as I was not happy with the GCode OWB I have in my holster junk drawer.
I may give the QVO a try with the Vertx bag when I pull the trigger for a G19 w/XC1 QVO OWB holster. The $12 price tag for the backer is very appealing. Where QVO shines is the customization for WMLs that companies like aliengear do not have a foothold (I'm comparing hook and loop holster's only specific to the Vertx bag). This is an interesting new market. Glad to see some real grassroot innovation.
