    Great video! I love the tinted windows. I've owned a 2007 model for about 4 years now. I've encountered similar issues with the alternator, radiator, and suspension. I have done all the repairs myself. However, here's the best part: the car has reached 307K miles. The engine runs super smoothly, and the transmission shifts great. I really like this car. I'm planning to keep it until it no longer runs or the cost of repairs exceeds the value of the car, which, at this point, isn't much. :) Anyway, great car!

      Thank you so much brotha! It means a lot. I like the look of the level of tint now but this GA heat makes it feel like there’s nothing on there 🤣. Man look at you go! I hope to achieve that mileage on this baby one day. Trans is giving out but I feel as though once I change it it’ll hopefully behave brand new. I’m excited to say the least! I love the car

    Sweet car. I wanted black on black when I was shopping for mine. Ended up settling for the grey black colour with the tan seats. A few issues you left out are the trunk actuator, hood strut failure, and the sunroof seals wear over the years(at least up here in Canada). Also they tend to burn oil. Great video and thanks for the information about your issues.

      Jesus. Yeah I’ve heard the front suspension fixes can be killer price wise. Thankfully I haven’t had to encounter that yet. We just checked the gasket on my high pressure fuel pumps and they look to be good but I do think my valley plate is leaking coolant so we’ll see how that goes. It holds enough for some reason lol

    Clean whip my man, I really appreciate cars from 2000-2010 in general. Things were built like tanks back then.
    I have a 2004 Park Ave Ultra that has every single option. 5200lbs of pure beef stock. 57,000 miles on the dash (the lady i bought it from drove it like 2k miles a year). Though my next car will be brand new or a certified, maybe an Acura type s. No reason to take on an interest bearing loan at this time.

      @@MarkM.M. thank you, I've had two of these Buicks one when I was younger too. I once hit a full grown buck coming home from a night shift at 55mph and there wasn't a single dent on my car.
      Another more recent time I was at a carwash and someone in a newer Merc (they were old) inexplicably floored it in reverse and hit my front bumper. My car was completely fine...the Benz rear bumper was severely dented and broken in 2 spots. Speaks to the quality of vehicles of that Era.

      The coolant on mine is also internally leaking into the engine bay from the radiator and I tried using Gorilla glue to stop it and now the reddish pink coolant that I refill everyday now is dried up yellow all over the engine area, what you think the problem is? A little smoke is now starting to come from the radiator with a burnt smell but no overheating but it didn’t happen today

    • @MarkM.M.
      @MarkM.M.  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      So the oem radiators have a problem with the fitting that goes from topside of the coolant reservoir to the radiator. They get brittle and break allowing for coolant to leak. @@MarkM.M.hey brotha just so you know if you turn on your ventilated or heated seats when idling in drive the RPM increases from 500 back to the normal 750. This has been discussed for years on the club Lexus forum and it seems Lexus has no fix as they are unable to modify the idle RPM, well they can but won’t. As far as the transmission goes, have you got a transmission drain and fill at the dealership? My last 2008 was slipping pretty bad and 2 drain and fills in 3 months fixed it, like nothing was ever wrong.

      As far as control arm replacements go, get the 2013-2017 parts. They fit the exact same but have a revised bushing compared to the originals that frequently fail.
