It is important to note that your visibility and activity on TH-cam is helping your sales and others who do not have that presence will not have the same results.
Although I do get some visibility from TH-cam, 95% of my traffic comes from Pinterest and the brand new TikTok I created for my business. I didn’t share my store name or link on TH-cam until the second month for this very reason because I wanted a true test of the traffic being driven organically. I think that my traffic has grown by about 2% this past month from TH-cam but I will definitely share those exact numbers in my Fourth month review! I do all of this to teach and share insight on what I’ve done to grow this business and That will definitely continue!
Mine me asking, I'm new what is the difference between onsite vs offsite ad spend? Would be nice to see the income you generated from each. Regardless though, seeing how low count your listings are vs. actual sales still looks good on Etsy, but your Shopify store is rocking. Congrats!
Not at all! On site ads are ads that run directly on Etsy. When someone searches your keywords your listings show at the top with the word ad under it. Off site is everywhere else. Etsy advertises on google, Pinterest, TH-cam etc. We don’t pay for those unless someone clicks and then buys, but the fee is 15% plus all the regular Etsy fees! The closest breakdown I get are the numbers I show you. I can go in and see exactly which products are sold via off site ads, but not on site! And Thanks! It has been fun to start from scratch to see what can be accomplished!
Mostly for free on Tiktok and Pinterest! We have tried one company that I talked about in my two month update. They are driving a ton of traffic but conversion rate is not good so I’m searching for other options!
Yes when I used to sell, July and August were always slow and then January too! But it definitely has seemed a bit worse than normal. 🫠 I think you’re right about the economy factoring in as well!
I have a question please if you don’t mind. Say hypothetically a person has $100 to their name. They need to to start making money immediately so they won’t be homeless. What is the quickest and best way to start earning money to afford rent and utilities?
Oooh this is a tough one. I feel like if things are that tight you have to do whatever you can to make money, not just passive income. If you have a car do Doordash or Uber or Lyft (really good money). You could also sign up to do Wag and walk dogs etc if you like animals. If you need to work from home or really just want to jump into passive income I think that you are going to have to 1. Figure out your niche (who are you going to market to) 2. What problem will you solve for them? 3. How will you solve the problem (with what product) If you are going strictly digital products you need to go with what is trending and low competition! I put out a trending report every Monday with low competition high search keywords that are selling. (I have been posting those on TikTok and Instagram but might start adding those as shorts on here as well. If you do not have an eye for design you can get a done-for-you product from my shop to use to create multiple products.) Those are at www.mwco.shop I hope that helps!
A trusted friend. I just gave them everything and instructions on what to do. If you’re wanting to outsource I’d either find a friend or try Fiverr or Upworks!
What exactly do you sell? Your website audience is positioned towards small business owners for reselling your assets so just curious who your end user actually is.
For these stores we are selling commercial use templates that I make. My end customer can purchase them, add their branding and sell them as their own. The final end user will be whomever my customers are targeting. My customers will edit the templates to meet the need of their audience. They can’t sell them to be resold though. They are selling a finished product or template.
You’re welcome! I have a couple courses coming out and will be offering group coaching as well. I am not currently doing any one on one but might in the future!
The stores in this video series sell a mix of digital products. Planners, printables, ebooks etc! That’s a lot in Taxes and fees compared to your sales! I would definitely reevaluate what’s the most effective and Cut out the extra advertising if you can!

Great video please what method of traffic to your shopify store?

I've been selling on Etsy for a few years now. This time of year is typically slower than the rest of the year, plus inflation doesn't help!

Here we go 🎉
You’re so sweet!
@@WendyJoDavis You are super helpful! At least this is something little I can do in return. 🫶
If may ask. Who is running your etsy store? Did you outsource it and where did you get candidates from? Can you share?
A trusted friend. I just gave them everything and instructions on what to do. If you’re wanting to outsource I’d either find a friend or try Fiverr or Upworks!
Like the video quickly but the sounds with screen pop ups at the beginning was super loud. Id just keep it in mind
I forgot to reduce the volume on the sounds before I uploaded it and once you upload to TH-cam it’s a done deal. I’ll remember next time though! 🫠

Hi Wendy! Thanks for your videos. Do you teach newbies on how to start making a passive income working on Etsy, Shopify ...etc?
You’re welcome! I have a couple courses coming out and will be offering group coaching as well. I am not currently doing any one on one but might in the future!
