When I ordered my M3P I also got the white and said something to the guy who dropped it off at delivery about the door, it showed the white like you mentioned when I ordered it but came with the black felt. The Tesla employee jus said thats how they come now... But after having the car for a year and a half I am super glad it came like this. I tend to hit the that side often so I know there would have been some marks that I wasnt too happy about. So imo it was a plus. The seats still look immaculate, I changed the ambient lights to blue easily with new bulbs, got a white cover w/ tesla logo for the middle arm wrest part, white stickers that go on the middle console and around the cup holders, and blacked out the logos on hood, trunk, and steering wheel. It looks great and I love my car!!!
I find the same with our Model Y, the automatic wipers do well with harder rain but not so good for misty/light rain. We live in Ohio with mostly harder so it works really for us 95%+ of the time.
Some wiper systems are coordinated with the front camera that looks through the windshield for safety. They clear the camera so it can aid in automatic emergency braking and other ADAS functions. There could be some dirt or grime in front of the camera making the wiper system work harder to clear. If only your car had some orange smelling cpap cleaner to keep the windshield clean!

They treated you bad at the Tesla dealership + delivered a car with the wrong interior color ……but you too delivery anyway ? Did they comp you anything? BTW the frunk is designed to carry a gas powered generator
