Stone Valley is coming and I was excited for that but I think we need a survival let's play for FS22. So, I agree.

I agree.I watched other map reviews on this map and none of them compare to Mr SealyP 's map reviews. I felt lost without his review.

I usually won’t play a map of this type, but I started playing this one yesterday. I sold all of the equipment and purchased a TLX truck and a chainsaw. I started small with the logging process, and working my way up.

The watch in the gold hut showed the right time also, nice detail.

I really do like this map and you pretty much touched on all those reasons! It's a brilliant evolution of the concept that started with No Mans Land, in some ways it feels like a merging of ideas from NML and Spectacle Island in FS19 that Jim's brought forward and updated for FS22 and put in a general American style location. And again for a big, wide open pioneer survival map like this it's still a really interesting map to look at and play in. Cracking work Jim and a wonderful tou too, MrSealyP!

Another great mod map tour as always and another cracking map from AlienJim 👍 he makes amazing maps and packs, Would be great to see you do a let's play on this map 😁 I hope you recover soon as I feel your pain, I put my back out quite a lot and it becomes mega uncomfortable and hard to concentrate.
Get well soon Mr Sealy P! Your have to invest in some good lumber support and assess your seating position. Try and keep moving when working . Hope you get all the support you need to recover well !

I tend to use the painting option to mark out fields before I plow anyway. That plowed stated would be ideal as a standard ingame

I took on the abandoned farm approach and slowly cleaning it up and doing some forestry on the side for income.

Hope the back improves Sir. I'm the same age and it comes as quick as it goes. My tip is try packing in carbs and fruit bar berries for 3 days and only eat whole foods. Just advice to take or leave.

Have been using the plowed texture to outline the new fields and mowed the grass to fill bunker up at biogas plant before plowing the rest of the field also been cutting trees down to make wood chips really good price on wood chips

Hope you get better soon , maybe start with a few bits as if you are a hobby farmer looking to expand . Maybe a greenhouse or bee hive so you don't have to rely on forestry as it will take a load of time to cut and deliver and no contracts available to supplement ! Big thanks to you and alien jim also !
I normally remove all the rocks on no Man’s Land and I guess I will be doing that on this map too. Would have been great if we could quarry the stone now that we have a use for it. Great Map again from AJ and a great tour from you so thank you both. Speedy recovery to you.
Really cool map. Love the abandoned farm. A nice feature for the farm would have been a trigger that actually lets you restore the buildings, similar to AJs animated buildings back.

Back pain stuff sucks mate been in the struggle for 10+ years. Loving this map. Im using log drag mod dragging hole trees to my saw mil no need to cut the logs if you own the mill. Hope that helps.
Hi MrP. Good video as usual. What I do like about Jim’s maps are he doesn’t keep using the same in game buildings but designs the buildings to suit the map ie the derelict buildings in this one. A lot of map makers do tend to use the same in game buildings and sometimes I think the maps feel just a rearrangement of a previous one rather than new. Just my opinion and not nocking any of the hard work modders produce.

Sorry to hear about your health issues mate. I have a spinal injury so 100% understand where you are coming from. Take it easy. I would recommend an "active" style chair though. Was a life saver for me an I spend 90% of my time at my desk. Let me know if you want to know which one I landed on after trying a few. Great video as always.
The clock on the gold hut was the actual in game time. He’s good is Jim
If you do decide you should pick plot 32 I believe, as that is the most dense area for tree's,and Jim seems to pay more for them.
Great improvement on No Mans Land & I Loved playing that map on FS 19 & fs 22. Need some help recovering the 3 golds, 1 is outside the map boundary & the other 2 are untouchable ( fools gold ) I put that new mod portable wood sell point on the back of a pick-up & drive around the tree's i have chainsawed & sell them. Don't need lots of equipment to make money from trees. Get well soon MSP.
I believe I saw a hut/box or something like that on a different bloggers review that shows a map of were the gold nuggets are located. I can’t remember where.

The Construction map introduced painting plow states and cultivated states to make fields in the last update. I don't know if it has the stones not showing up like Alien Jim's plow state never tested it. Loving this map, amazing what Alien Jim can create.

This map looks great! Something about no man’s land isn’t for me but this one suits my style. I like the four corner design of the prebuilt areas, etc.

Noticed even though you paint the plowed texture it still says “ Needs plowing “ field creator requires less hassle.
But if you paint you can then just have a worker plow the field

The abandoned farm, which I’ve bought and deleted the trees, the power lines and general junk. All well and good so far but, I’m still left with a huge amount of tree limbs which I cannot get rid of. Now I don’t want you getting rid of the timber with your bad back but does any ideas come to mind. Anyway no more over excursion with your back. Get well soon.
Paint it with grass and plants then smooth it, then they vanish

I've also seen that you can dig a hole and add water plain to make your own water source/ pond/lake! I haven't been able to play yet as mod hub hasn't worked all weekend on Xsx!#*
Been there before I was on oxy and had to get 2 operations.
At last a no mans land style map i want to play, i like the idea of the train running idle (great sound effects) and the highway just on the edge of the map and all the other features and sound effects. Calmsden is a fantastic map but i may have a new favourite.

If you do decide to do a playthrough on this map, but are worried that without contracts you're going to be strapped for cash/content for the first few years, consider using the Government Subsidy mod. The municipal subsidy sign it gives rewards just about $8,000/month - I like to allow myself use of it for the first couple of years only, as if I'm being aided in setting up a new farm by the government, but then have to become self-sufficient by a certain point. Works really nicely!
Interesting, I might give it a try, I have'nt tried the no mans land so this would be completely new experience for me, but wonder, is it field stone you'll use for the Gold production or can we "mine" stone from the ground as in Silverrun forest?

On the farm that has the two fields in this map you have to use the plow to open the fields again
I thought this might be a great map to put on the server and have MSP be the farm manager in charge of the subscriber contracts management while his minions scramble about doing the work.

I hope your pain goes soon, this is my first try at survival so would love a Let's play on this to give me some guidance and tips going forward. As far as I've come across so far I haven't needed to own the land to cut down posts unless I've done something wrong ? Also I've never collected collectables in any other map but tried on this to give a better starting place but even with using the gold hut I struggle to find them where they are suppose to be ??
There is a gold hut near the train sellpoint on the left side of the map. Inside is a map for guidance. Hope that helps.

Can you imagine doing like a gold farm. You plow right beside the river(for realism), collect the stones using some bucket mods (which exists). Collect the stones and produce gold. Call it "Gold farming". Instead of a plow use a ripper (when and if that ever comes out) and use a bulldozer to collect the "paydirt" (when and if that comes out as a mod)
how do we get gold from the rocks

There's only 19 pins in the gold map so there's one that still need to be found
