This was a very good video and I learned a few things on what to do with my auto pilot I have one just like yours I love the efficiency on the placement of your net and fishfinder and measuring board. Thank you so much for making this it was very enjoyable to watch and very informative. I’ve watched it over and over and I like your organization skills on the boat. Please continue making videos these are great to watch!😎
Huge agree on the cart landing gear. I run an Ascend and it's a heavy girl to get in and out of the water. Even more annoying to get on to a cart while solo.
@@KayakOutbreak gotcha. One last question… how did you fix the ball mount base to the track mount? It looks like the ball mount with the fixed bottom base. Did you screw it in?
Nope. It wasn't too difficult if your hands are long enough. I used tape when trying to thread the bolts in. It's not hard, just need to do it blind inside the hull. It's doable and I'm happy with it. I feel confident with it!
I can't recall a time I've hit my poles while casting. I have, however, broke a rod while casting by hitting it against a camera pole. I was experimenting with sides of where to mount the camera, and lets just say I don't put the camera pole on the right side of the kayak because of that. I do not secure my rods because I feel confident in stability and my experience, however, it would be very easy to attach a bungee to my tackle box to secure multiple rods at a time. Personally, I do not see the need for that. Thanks for commenting. Have fun out there!

They're all RAM mounts components. It wasn't a complete set, I've bought them separately. Basically a couple of 1.5" metal ball mounts. They're not track specific, just used T-bolts to get them installed. The socket arm is full metal as well. Longer size, probably 10-12". Not sure exactly.

This is quality content
well done sir
Well done!
Great video well done
Good video
Great stuff!! What exact mount were you using to hold your graph?
I built it from a bunch of random RAM pieces. All 1.5" compatible, amd made of aluminum. The socket clamp itself is like 12 inches or so

I purchased a set this past winter.
I am hoping to get them on sometime next week.
fingers crossed!
Complicated usually means expensive
Do you ever worry about hitting your poles behind you when you cast? Also do you secure your rods in case of flipping?
