    • @DavidVanVoris
      @DavidVanVoris  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      V2Rotax definitely agree! I tend to only use it when I need to, but I know I need to use it the whole time. Thanks for watching!

      It's not only your friend, it will save your tranny. If you had a tranny gauge, I bet it would have been smoking hot! Steep climbs and boulder crawling quickly raise the tranny temp. Low range raises the RPMs so the fluid moves around and cools and doesn't sit and boil. Nice video though!

    Hi, is it necessary to have trussed axles or C's welded on to do this type of wheeling? I have a 2 door JK Rubicon with 35" tires and wanted to know if I need to get that added before I do this type of wheeling. I to live in Colorado (Highlands Ranch). Thanx for your reply in advance!

      Zdenek Stuchlik oh you are close to where I live! I live close to Parker. You won't need those for 35s and I personally only run c gussets, I don't think truss's are worth it, but everyone has their own opinion on that.

    Awesome off road action - I know you said you run 26-28 lbs air pressure for daily driving, what do you air down to when off roading?

    • @DavidVanVoris
      @DavidVanVoris  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ken Nelson typically 12-15lbs. I didn't go that low on this one, but I typically do.

    do you think it's a good idea to run 35s with 4 inch x series lift?

    Loved to wheel with you, you guys had too much fun. Question: I notice you and your 2 door jk friend have stock wheels.how are they holding up on bigger tires?

    • @DavidVanVoris
      @DavidVanVoris  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      srkn100 you are more than welcome to join! They are holding up great. You can run 10-12 psi and they hold the bead. I've banged the wheels up pretty good and they are holding up.

    Are you in low range in the jku? It doesn't look like it for a lot of the trail

      John Davis I was for parts of it and I should have been for the whole thing. Lesson learned lol

    Is that a bestop trektop nx? If so how quiet is it (wind noise)?

    • @DavidVanVoris
      @DavidVanVoris  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ethan Gorosave it is. It's noticeably louder, especially because of the exhaust I have. The actual wind noise is tolerable unless it's really windy out or someone passes you with a loud exhaust. I daily drive it, so I'm use to it now.

    are you like spraying something under your jeep at 12:14? and just before.

    • @DavidVanVoris
      @DavidVanVoris  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      schnob92 no it's the Evap system which is a lot louder because of how open the front bumper is.

    • @schnob92
      @schnob92 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      ah thanks. Love the jeeps, I really want one but for now I'm stuck just watchin' other people play around. haha
