I believe God is love. True love forgives. But true love also pleads for forgiveness. It’s hard. Not everyone can do it. If someone is continuously cheating I think that’s different. I forgave my husband, (he was only my boyfriend at the time) when he cheated on me. He was literally on the floor begging me not to leave. And now we’re years into our marriage with a beautiful baby boy. And he truly has changed. We both have. I thank God I had the heart to truly forgive him. But I promise you if it were to happen again, I probably wouldn’t be able to forgive again. Cheating is so heartbreaking. I pray for everyone out there dealing with that to simply have strength. He could’ve abandoned her and made her work with someone else, but instead he owned up and really listened to her feelings and helped her bring them to life through that project. Beyoncé even has an interview where she says how much it meant to her that Jay Z didn’t run away from the project or cap her creativity due to his own pride. I'm surprised Adrienne DID get married. Maybe it's because she looks up to Claudette as a mother-figure and role model so it didn't affect her parents' divorce that much.
