I dont even like Burst. I dont know. I’m from the Bakuten generation, grew up out of the hobby for a long time, before coming back recently because of X. But I really cant bring myself to like Burst, sadly.
I’m having a hard time to recognize the beys’s names since they dont have the Beast bits anymore, which I consider to be the “face” and identity of a bey. Whenever I see a collections of Burst beys, all I see is a clutter mess of colorful tops never knowing what’s what or where to look for. But it’s just me. Other than the OVER-THE-RAINBOW designs and color schemes, the beys’ mechanics itself isn’t half bad. I love how they bursts into pieces with the cluttering sounds with every burst finish, something that doesnt happen often in the other generations. Yet I really hated how some of my favorite beys (which is the remakes of Bakuten Beys) are practically unplayable due to how damn easy they are to burst. And the recent generations’ Burst beys practically almost never bursts because how hard and heave they made them recently.
Now, Beyblade X simplistic design instantly clicks on me. I love how the beast bits are back, now I can tell which is Dransword, Hellscythes, Wizards, etc just by looking at their “faces”, not wild guessing from their color scheme. The anime and character designs are also top notch, I loved it from the first time I saw it.
I wasn't into Burst personally, but I know a lot of people loved it. It did a good job of being Beyblade's 3rd generation. R.I.P
I was one of those who didn’t get into Beyblade Burst until the anime came out. And personally I have more faith in Beyblade X. The gimmick is fun and really my flaws with it were the durability and feeling the Beys were too tall. Now with X Beys in my hand the taller high doesn’t bother me as much as makes battles more unpredictable and fun. They just need to improve the durability of the ratchet and plastic sticking out of the blade and I’m more than satisfied

My big issue with beyblade X is the price for the Beginning Beys
It really depends on your location. I'm getting mine for like 90 HKD which is 10 USD approximately
The same can be said about Plastic Gen to Metal Fight. I didn’t like metal Fight at the beginning because I was a giant fanboy for Plastic Gen. You just have to let the new gen be its thing and you either like it or you don’t , no use in trying to compare new gens to old.
I haven’t been to Walmart in the last couple of days, but I should check. The Wal-Mart in my home town has a weird pattern in how they restock the shelves with Beyblade.
Update: so I was just at my local Walmart and head straight to see how the shelf’s stock on Beyblade Burst looked, and it’s completely stocked up both QuadStrike and Pro Series! Wow! Decided on picking up Flane Pandora since I want to complete my QuadStrike/Burst Ultimate Anime Collection lol
Plus I like Pri’s character.

Man im happy and sad. Because beyblade burst the orignal, evolution, and Turbo were good. But im also happy because every other series became copy and paste. Oh look beyblade breaks it evolves. Oh look the battle started welp here goes the same attack animation as the last 5 eps. I can predict the outcome of every single battle in Beyblade burst before the beys even touch the stadium. Hopefully it it isnt like that in x. I still enjoyed the series but it had its flaws. But the openings were extremely good and I'll miss that.

Hi illinuc, i have a Lot of mixed feeling about the end of the burst series, because I've started playing with them only 9 or 10 months ago and the BU and DB series were great! But I'm happy that ended because I can find all the released bey easly and still play with my friends in some local tournaments
The X series has a lot of potential but for now I'm not willing to buy all of them, just a couple, maybe the lion one and dran dagger, because I'm afraid of the power creep that will come after this year. Playing with them is cool but I definitely will wait 2 or 3 years before getting in to it. For now I'll play with my burst and metal series and wait for a western release

I’m just not fully sold on X yet. The boys themselves feel too tall for me, even if that’s the intended gimmick, it still stands out to me as something bad. Along with the lack of anime, I can’t really get too into it

Beyblade X to me is like the shogun steel of Burst
I don’t like how the main character uses basic birds as his bey avatar it’s just such a boring and average avatar also it’s confirmed that the main character completely changes his bey atleast 3 times two of which are just basic birds
I remember getting into beyblade burst it was magical when I was a kid my first beyblade was Red Uber Unicorn and I still have it to this day it’s also a way to show we all have made this far from playing with our friends for evaluation to going turbo to turning GT to Breaking our limits then crazy dynamite battles to the peak of ultimate burst/using the elements to now an eXtreme Gear sports it’s a new beginning while bringing our old beginnings with us by X beys having our childhood in them as in burst lives on in Beyblade X and we will get to see kids the age we were with beyblade burst playing beyblade X with there friends and I hope when we see our X beys Burst I hope that keeps reminding us on where we started and where we are now with beyblade I can’t wait for some eXtreme Battles 3️⃣✌️☝️ GO SHOOT/LET IT RIP💥

I couldn't care less I love beyblade and all versions of it but my only grip is they never make returning beys right most of the like I really wish metal would made a good version of the 4 from plastic but it never happened. Also what I mean a metal serious version and not like a lookalike on top of some metal like X does.
Beyblade x is not like metal fighting. Beyblade x battles are still like Beyblade burst and no change. Also the beyblade x characters are very annoying. After Metal Fury, I left the Beyblade series and began to hate Beyblade series because the seasons after Metal Fury started changing the hero every season, and this matter was very annoying and maddening, which prompted me to leave the series and not watch Beyblade series, and it became one of the worst anime. Even Fairy Tail became better than Beyblade series, but Beyblade Metal will remain in my heart because it was great

For me, I don't think Burst is dead, I still prefer Burst systems over X any days. Since X is just a combination of all the previous system, it doesn't make X system more unique. Its true most the first release of any generation might be a bit dull by fans exception, it could be better if the X system got upgrade in the future, who knows right? Oh yeah, guys, don't throw away your burst yet. Who knows it still got values in the future when there is no more stock for burst in the market. 😁 Just as its hard to find the original plastic gen and metal series bey today. Keep it. It still the best.

I've been playing Beyblades for more than 20 years and I have to say it took me a long time to get used to the new generations.Personally, I think the first gen is the best in terms of looks and the Metal Saga is the best in terms of fun and I think it's brilliant that all 3 gens are now included in the 4th generation. Metal+bitbeast+burst= very good. Chest was a big disappointment for me from Hasbro, the beys were just terrible and way too expensive and the anime didn't really convince me either.. But to each his own and I think that we will soon see more old-school beys again and there will definitely be a few burst variations among them. Takara is well on the way to satisfying us all.Have fun and let it rip!!😸

personally, im sad that burst is done for, but on the other hand, x has alot of things going for it, fun gimmick, keeps bursting there, but not as the main selling point, and it looks just plain fun. x reminds me of what it would look like if hasbro was good at making beys, t.t saw hasbro, knew they had something, and x seems like a great jumping point for new fans

Good the anime sucked imo, worst of the 3 generations. The beys were great but also no way to reliably buy them because the dogshit hasbro was peddling is straight up a mcdonalds toy not a beyblade. Some of the best layers are GOD layers. Like two seasons in and the second they stop using takara designs the meta literally just died and froze in time, stagnant. The remakes were also done hella dirty in burst, like unusable to kinda just eh was the scale. As for the anime they literally just had the valt remakes every other season after he stepped out, the legend bladers were taken from being the best bladers to - i wonder how shu is going to get the yamcha from dbz treatment this time. Bro literally lost to everyone, aiga, phi? or whoever, fortunately dodged an L by being replaced by a blue haired clone with a better arc than him just to come back and get washed by some hedgehog mf'er, then he got washed by the sun twin dudes, he then came back A G A I N just to lose to bell. Like this guy is meant to be respected? HE CATCHES NOTHING BUT L'S. Like straight up he's meant to be the cool, rival who's skilled af but loses to the main guy, except i think he didnt read the fine print because the main guy swapped like 6 times so in reality that makes him drop like 8 spaces lmao.

yeah na. i think the peak of Beyblade was the metal series. this Beyblade burst thing was soo bad for me i stopped watching Beyblade in general.
Also compared to previous gens x beys do surprisingly well against beys with the final system from the previous gen I mean I had x dranzer burst a cyclone ragnurok combo not to mention it had a dash driver and yes it’s a ragnurok but it surprisingly has a decent burst rate

Burst was the childhood of many, is the same thing with the Metal Fight fans. Is not like is easy to accept the end of a show you love so much. Burst was one of the most costumizable beyblades to ever exist, X is not going to do well from the get go as people are still hunged up on their favorite generations as in the past. I wish the best for Beyblade X, can't wait to watch it when it airs

Beyblade Burst for me was the show that got me through so much tough times, it is my comfort show and my favourite series of Beyblade. I will never forget it, it may be over but it will always be in my heart.

I agree the reason the beys were so cool to me was BECAUSE THE ANIME WAS SO FREAKING GOOD! Which made the beys and products from plastic gen and metal fight and early beyblade burst so awesome imo.

Burst got me into Beyblade, well no, actually it was some 7th graders playing with Metal Fight beys, I started in Burst. It had a good run, but hot take, it should've stopped in Cho-z, that was when the writing was at its peak. Rise felt more like a spin-off and not an actual continuation imo, I got bored of it quickly, but it had cool beys. Then the plot went downhill from there. I didn't even watch QS because of the sh*tty designs. But I'm glad it stuck around for 7 years and I'm looking forward to Beyblade X. Come on guys, let's be real, we know the previous gens were made solely for kids, X feels like them mature animes, just hope they don't sexualize females. I feel like Multi is going to be a prime target for r34 artists if Beyblade X takes off as a legit anime.

After Metal was over, I never came back to beyblade. I didn't like the burts generation at all so I'm glad it's over. For some reason I actually like X, it looks so interesting and has more in common with Metal then with Burst. I excited to see how is gonna be🎉

And finally they burst or they don't It's like you never know what the finish will be. But with beyblade x and all of the older series. You know, it's just gonna be a ring out finish Most of the.
Time they don't even have a finish that has 2 points anymore. My point being if you're gonna have a baby blood competition, at least make them be able to burst. Or what's the fun in even blading in the first place
