Ive seen a few other similiar machines advertised for a while and was always hesitant to add one of these but this video almost has me sold to get one down the line. The price point is the real seller here...
I'm glad to hear the video has you considering the Shoulder Boulder! It really does offer great value for the price, especially with its space-saving design and versatility. If you have any questions about it or need more info, feel free to ask!
They posted reels of it on an all in one. Not sure if it was a prototype for the 3x3 version or not. I asked the question but haven't heard back yet. I thought spacers were mentioned at one point in the video above so maybe they have that figured out already?
@@dennismorrison9278 - Yeah, I've seen the prototype before, and spacers have been mentioned. Will wait a little while to see if some kinks are mentioned by others.
Thanks for your enthusiasm! The All-In-One trainer is a great choice. we are working on the 60mm x 60mm version in order for it to work alongside the all in one!
@@BELLSOFSTEELsecond this. Would love to see a version that attaches to the cable tower. The tower is already one of my favorite pieces of equipment. Some more attachments (including this) that use the cables/weight stack would be sick!
How difficult is it to just add some pulley wheels on it to use on a cable machine, it feels it couldve been added from factory and possibly a missed opportunity. If you want some ideas or prototyping feel free to reach out to me Bells!
Only having 15 in stock (Canada/u.s.a) wide when released? I would have ordered one (even on pre-sale) but not for the 5 month wait on expected ship date.
This product was not on our radar for a big launch or even to be on presale so we miscalculated this. We understand the frustration with limited stock and long wait times. We aim to provide quality equipment, and sometimes that means a bit of a wait. We're working hard to ensure more availability in the future.
I know it’s taking forever but it’s my number 1 product focus of the year. Currently the plate loaded and stack version are awaiting the 3rd prototype. So close
I appreciate your feedback! The Shoulder Boulder here is our beat up demo one which is a tad loose however our final products coming will be a more snug fit to be sure.
Thanks for your excitement! We're working hard on the cable tower lat pulldown conversion and will share updates as soon as we can. its been a priority for us and will be announcing an update February
Of course they're sold out...I had to settle for the Revolt one because it doesn't say when they plan on getting new stock in. I'd definitely sell the one I have for the BoS one.
Looks really great but I'm more focused on leg strength. Would love to see your leg extension/curl machine have adjustable arms so can change the force curve to focus on different parts of the muscle, kind of like the bulletproof isolator has that option and now this too
BoS didn't have one of these before so I bought one from another brand just last month. Should have waited. This looks better made and easier to move around 😢
The weight horns are designed to be mounted on the opposite side for optimal stability. Unfortunately, inverting them for wall mounting isn't possible with this version.
$275? Not really overpriced. But the video made it seem like there was a lot of play in it and I wouldn't want it to feel wobbly. Ive wanted one for 6 months or so and passed on every option but i might try this one out if it ships soon.
Couldn't you start with the handles out to the sides, perpendicular to the floor and the basically just squeeze down to get a killer pec workout? Basically the similar motion to trying to bend a bar.
This is a good example of BOS innovating and offering everything under the sun. Will it be 11 gauge steel- no, will it be wobbly- probably, will lots of people buy it because it’s cheaper than the alternative- I hope so
Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate you letting me know about the music volume. I'm glad to hear you think the product is great! I'll keep your comments in mind for future videos.
The slack is more due to this being a prototype being showcased that has been abused and tested quite a bit, the final drop arriving to customers will be more stable for sure!
The Shoulder Boulder is compatible with racks that have a 3” width and ⅝” holes. If the Altas Strength AL-3058G meets those specifications, it should work well!
The Shoulder Boulder offers a unique resistance profile that can enhance your workout by providing smoother, more controlled movements compared to traditional cables or dumbbells. It’s designed to save space and allows for micro-loading. It’s a great addition for those looking to elevate their training!
The demand for the Shoulder Boulder + Chest Fly has been more than we predicted, and I'm sorry for the wait. We're working hard to restock as quickly as possible. We have begun new production for the next batches however that takes time as we didn't want to produce too many until we get some good feedback to move forward with this product.
The demand was more than we predicted and we are currently beginning production of the next batch as soon as we can. we apologize for the wait times here.
I understand your concern about the price! The Shoulder Boulder offers a unique design that provides better consistent resistance and space-saving benefits compared to traditional dumbbells. It's all about maximizing your workout efficiency and minimizing injury risk. But its not for everyone and we get that, we do have plenty of dumbbells on our site as well!
Watching the video it sounds like it's in the pipeline but nothing yet for the 2.3x2.3 but you can use this with say some spacers. But like he said they currently don't offer any spacers to take a 60mm x 60mm (2.3 x 2.3) to s true 3x3 but there are ones out there. Looks like we just gotta wait for it to come out. Probably with the demand they get from this for the 3x3 they will decide how/when to release for the older sizes... And the hole size he said it can fit either 5/8th or 1inch holes
Our shoulder boulder is now restocked for presale!
It would be next level for the 2.3” pulley tower with cable attachment hooks. I’ll wait…
Restocked and pre-sale are opposites. It's not restocked if it's a pre sale
I’ve been getting nothing but ads for lateral raise attachments for a while now, ironic that you guys have one now too. Will be buying this!
🎉 thank you

Can u make a version for 2x2 or spacers for your 2x3 your making?

This with bands would probably be epic!
Adding bands could definitely enhance the workout and provide even more versatility. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! 💪

Could it attach to a Kraken? That would be sick, especially with a selectorized stack.
It can but the resistance it provides is worse than just using plates or just using the kraken by itself
If this could be connected to cable tower with good resistance it would be game changing
that's actually something we are looking into!

Yes, a bit of slop as our upright is 3.2 mm thicker

It went fast like hot cakes, we got a new restock in now on presale!
Is the bit of slop seen in the mounting area due to the smaller pin sized used for the welded pin on the manticore 1" holes?
I think so, it’s pretty minimal, and you can use the keyhole to make it line up even better
Now get going on some of these for the tower!
That’s what I want to see as well! I have no idea why BOS doesn’t sell adapters for their towers to work with the 3x3 stuff in the meantime.

Can the weight horns be inverted to be on the same side as the user for this to be wall mounted?
The weight horns are designed to be mounted on the opposite side for optimal stability. Unfortunately, inverting them for wall mounting isn't possible with this version.
Will this fit with your cable tower?
it technically fits but it has way too much slack and play as its made for 3x3 at the moment. we are working on a 60mm x 60mm version for the towers!
My rack has 3x3 uprights but 1" (metric "inches" according to the manufacturer), so do you think that you might eventually release a 1" version?
It will work for the manticore rack as well but there is a tad bit of slack with the hole as the peg is 5/8inch but we can look into that!
Will this work well on rep 3x3 1 inch hole 2 inch hole spacing racks?
The Shoulder Boulder was made for our 3x3 racks! that includes the 1" hole racks as well.

I would love to see what John Greaves the third from garage. Life media thinks about this attachment.
