- So what did I forget?
I'm off to Portugal this week to walk a chunk of the Rota Vicentina. I did the same last November, although this year I'm starting a few days further north, and overlapping just the best bit for the last couple of days.
This video is a bit too gear-centric for my liking, but people seemed to be interested in what I was carrying for 10 days on the trail.

Thank you for this, have already subscribed and watched both parts of your trip. I love Portugal and have been North to South and East to West along the Algarve coast, but I strangely have not been to this section of coastline. I definitely think the trip might be best completed in two visits so that it retains the enjoyment of walking and not become a chore. Greetings from Co Down
Thanks for watching. You might be right. I did two overlapping sections a year apart and still didn’t do the northernmost couple of days. The bit I overlapped was my favourite part.
Plan on doing fisherman's trail end of January, doing the same as you flying to and returning from faro what do you think weather will be like and also is condensation bad in tent , by the way really enjoyed your 2 vids I've subscribed ,best informative vid I've seen on FT cheers all best.
Thanks for the kind words. Travel is very straight forwards and all bookable in advance of you prefer. Early November was ~20 Celsius most days. An Atlantic storm had rolled through Europe a day or two before my trip this year and so seas were still wild. It also brought a couple of torrential showers. And the wind!
I had very little condensation in the tent and most days set off with everything dry in my pack. Have a great trip and let me know if you’ve any more questions
So how did it go?
How did you get such a cheap flight?
Ryanair, and travelling off season.
