    Hi dear doctor thanks for your nice video. Could you also prepare a video about formulating diet with low protein level by balancing amino acids and any other tips that are useful for feed formulation based on amino acids. Best Regards

      Thank you very much for your constructive comment dear Hamid. That's a great idea and for sure I'll explian it using a real example in a video. Happy New Year 2023.

    Thank you very much for the presentation, professor. These videos have helped me a lot. It would be interesting, like the previous comment, a video formulating with a low level of protein with balance of amino acids. Is there a minimum protein value when working based on amino acids? My question is due to the fact that I observe a minimum protein such as amino acids in the guides.

      Hello Juan. That's a great question. You can consider the dietary energy range to determine the dietary protein level and determine how low you can go with dietary protein or amino acids. For example, the energy range for broilers is from 2750 to 3200 kcal/kg. Let's say if the recommended energy and protein levels for a certain strain is 3200 kcal/kg and 22%, respectively, then we want to determine the lowest protein level we can go with. So, if you calculate the energy per protein ration (3200 / 22 = 145.45), then you need to keep this ratio if you choose the lowest number from the energy range. Then you can calculate the protein level based on the chosen energy level.
      Example: Energy / protein = 145.5 so 2750/protein = 145.45, so your lowest protein would be 18.9%. Please keep in touch.

    Dear Professor,
    I hope you're doing fantastic! I've have noticed your absence on social media. I wanted to check in to make sure everything is alright.
    I have a question for you about any database we could use to determine ingredient limitations and constraints (Min and Max) and would love to hear your thoughts on the matter. I was thinking of reaching out to you privately, but then I figured why not share it with everyone so that we can all benefit from your expertise.
    Thank you so much for your time, Professor.
    Warmest regards,

      Hi Joey. Thanks for the greeting. I am creating a complete version of feed formulation software and will come to my TH-cam channel with good news.
      In response to your question, there is a book named "The feeds directory" written by Dr. W. N. Ewing. This book presents the feed ingredients limitation for all livestock animals.
      By the way, I have not forgotten your previous question about ruminant feed formulation. It's on my list.
      Thanks for your interest and please keep in touch.

      Thanks again for keeping in touch, and have a fantastic day Professor!!!

    Hello Professor, hope everything is well!
    I have a question. Each standard or breeding company suggests different required nutrients. When formulating, how do I know which mutrients should I specifically choose for formulation?

    • @animalnutritionist
      @animalnutritionist  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Joey. You need to use the manual guide (containing nutritional recommendation) for the breed or strain that you are formulating feed for. Let's say if you are formulating diet for Ross 308 broilers you need to use the nutrient requirements table of Ross 308. Whereas if you are formulating for Ross 708 you need to use its specific nutritional tables. I hope this answers your question.

      @@animalnutritionist Thank you for answering! So let's say if the ross manual amino acid formualtion uses cysteine but not tryptophan (for example purpose only) and the cobb manual uses the opposite, I should follow the manual specific for the breed? And another question about why you do not use all the required nutrients when formulating in these excel tutorials? Thank you for your time professor!!!!

    • @animalnutritionist
      @animalnutritionist  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Joey.Nassrani that's a great question. Yes you need to use breed specific guide. It's a good idea to use all required nutrients in the spreadsheet. However if you just use the most important ones that would suffice. It means that the ones that there are syntatic supplememts to address their shortage in the diet. Let's say if you want to balance Tryptophan that's a great idea but there is no synthetic Tryptophan for the poultry use purpose. That being said it will be better to balance all nutrients in the diet.

      @@animalnutritionist Thank you for clearing that up. It would be great if you could post a video in the future about that specific concept especially to know the synthetic vs non synthetic and the principal parameters vs the optional ones. Thanks again professor apreciate the time and effort 🙏🙏 bless you.
