I saw the movie today with the Fam, we all loved it, definitely there are some things that are not age appropriate but overall it was really good, it definitely should have been released it the theaters.
I wonder if the curse happens to any males in the family and how they would react to it and I also wonder if Mei didn’t keep the panda I wonder what she would keep it in
they said in the movie that it happens specifically to girls also even if it wasn't limited to gender i don't think the reaction would be very different
If it could happen to boys, the reaction would be the same, those two genders get emotional outbursts, but, seeing how boys are forced to repress emotions, they could be a little less stable than the girls, with outbursts being more dangerous to everyone around them due to them bottling it up for too long. But given, in the movie, it's said that only the women in the family get it. However, a man might be able to have it, not a biological man, but a trans man, which would be an interesting concept
