  • President Nelson met with French Polynesian president Édouard Fritch on Friday prior to the 175th anniversary cultural program celebrating the arrival of the first missionaries to French Polynesia.
President Nelson and his wife, Wendy, hosted President Fritch and the First Lady. They were accompanied by Elder Gerrit W. Gong of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and his wife, Susan.
“I would like to thank you all for your tremendous contribution to our country,” said President Fritch in opening remarks at the celebration. “It’s a pleasure to be side by side with you all. Happy anniversary to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints [in Tahiti].”

President Nelson's ministry to the Pacific area has been remarkable, he has met with the saints in each of the coutries he's visited, their local church leaders & givernmental leaders to complement then, warn them, announce the location of the Auckland New Zealand Temple &, witness the outpouring of their love for the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.

President Nelson spreads his love and blessings across the globe. I love him and all that he is doing for the church in these Latter Days.
The Savior brought my family back together.
I testify with every part of my heart and being that Jesus is the Christ and He and the Lord Live ♥️

@@elgavilan7731 our culture and language says we are. We still call the sun RA in the Cook Islands.

Akaiti Akaiti From Wikipedia: “In Māori mythology, Tama-nui-te-rā (Tamanuiterā) is the personification of the Sun.” I can see that Ra is in Tama-nui-te-RA. But I never heard of any Native American gods call Ra.. I’m just confused. How do you connect the Maori Cook Islanders with the Native Americans? Pardon my ignorance - i just want to understand.

Obesity, warning, unchaste, in the name of Jesus Christ, via D&C 98! On Christmas Day, I invite you to repent. Sell the clothes, maybe still dress in proper pride, with a collegiate hoodie of daily use. Stay warm, seek cotton and function.
