    Good review!
    My current PC uses the same case. I agree about the height of the case, my ASUS 3060 OC 12GB TUF Gaming card is a tight fit (but it fits). I was surprised by your temps as I'm getting very good temps under load. Perhaps I need to run a similar benchmark test to see, but my idle temps are in the high 30s, with hardcore gaming loads comfortably in the high 50s (ambient temp around 28 degrees in Manila apartment. I've very rarely seen gaming temps in the 60s. BUT I also carefully selected my my GPU and CPU components specifically for their good cooling reviews. Since I knew that I'd be using this ITX case (see below).
    1. The ASUS TUF Gaming 3060 OC GPU:
    - uses the middle fan as an exhaust, that seems significant in this ITX case
    - GPU is also one of the better temperature performers for cards in it's category, beat only by the slighly better MSI competitor
    2. For the CPU cooling (i3-12100F)
    - I'm using the IS-55 with an Asrock B660M-ITX/ac. The IS-55 only fits in one orientation, but it fits and the cooling is quite good.
    - In addition, I installed the Thermaltake CPU buckle to keep the CPU flat and in full contact with the IS-55, this is also supposed to drop temps (though I haven't tested it without the CPU buckle)
    NOTES:
    - I was able to install two 2.5" SSDs on the bottom of the case (under the power supply), but there's no way to install fans on top, there's too much structural stuff in the way.
    - I wonder if you can get even lower temps if you replace the acrylic panels with some mesh. (the acrylic panels make a perfect template). The mesh might make it easier for hot air to exit at the top/sides of the panels.

      Thanks for the inputs. I wasn't really clear in the video why I didn't call out my GPU temps that much. Looking at my RTX 3060 Gaming OC temps, it's near underwhelming already even at open test bench. Putting it inside the case with the 5800X just made matters worse for the components overall (by increasing case ambient temps overall by heat re-circulation) and the difference is pretty much acceptable (same as CPU).
      Re: Asus TUF RTX 3060. In RTX 30 series, Asus TUF is one of the best cooling to price ratio out there. Good that you got one.
      Re: 12100F. This CPU is a lot easier to cool (at 58W-89W). This made your case ambient temps to be better already.
      Re: mesh side panels, it can dampen the noise but maybe not so much to the temps (holes in this case is pretty big already). It also has to be a better design mesh as well (not from I100 Mesh Pro). What the case lacks is active airflow for hotter components.
      Good choice in components overall and very decent gaming PC :)
      I also learned a lot from your well-constructed comment and added the following to my checklist:
      1. Idle temps - I never recorded it and I will put include it in my future tests (I just wait for the idle temps to "normalize" but never disclosed it). I'll record the temps for 30 minutes while idle.
      2. Components suggestion - my components may be bad for the case. I should also extrapolate if it can handle hotter components, or maybe it can only handle cooler components. Though my test will remain at biggest GPU that can fit the case (as component compatibility is a marketing line for ITX case manufacturer that needs to be validated)
      Thank you.

    Downsizing my zzaw c2 matx case using an undervolt cpu(5600x) and gpu(pulse 2 fan 260mm 6700 xt) hoping my temps will be fine with this case hehe.

    To install the bigger graphics card just remove the internal power cable completely. Install the GPU then reinstall the power cable. For worse case scenerio, you can remove the whole back panel of the case, its just a few screws. This is what I did with my 8L case

    • @manongunboxing
      @manongunboxing  ปีที่แล้ว

      I see. Though looking at the other end of it, I'll hit the USB3 cable which I have to remove (Sapphire Nitro+ RX 6800 has lower dimensions vs Asus Strix RTX 3070, but still uncomfortable to fit). Front and back panels are riveted in my case.

    New subscriber. Nice content. Was planning to get this but I am not sure if it will fit my GPU.What do you think is the maximum card height? will it fit a 129-130 wide card?

    • @manongunboxing
      @manongunboxing  9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hi, sorry for the late reply as I missed your comment. If your GPU is long (305-310mm), it might hit the USB 3 cable at the end if it's 130mm wide. However, if the GPU is a bit shorter, I believe it can accommodate a 130mm width.

    looks like the S400 would be a better choice compared to this since it fixes all the clearance issues this case had (works w/ wider GPUs since the power outlet is on the motherboard side and the USB header issue since all connectors are at the bottom) while also looking better due to not using unaesthetic acrylic panels. the S400 can also house 2x slim 120mm fans for more active airflow too. it can also fit a 4090 which is neat while still being at 10.8L

    Hello..is this case support 63mm CPU cooler like Jonsbo HX6200D?
    i have similiar case but side panel is acrylic with only 2 slot GPU
    the model like i100-2 but the dimension is similiar with pro mesh

    • @manongunboxing

      I'll not risk 63mm CPU cooler. At most 62mm and expect it to bulge

    of course not sure about Jonsbo hx6200d, it's 63mm high.
