- Hey guys, today we are at @railgiantstrainmuseum7772 to blow whistles honk horns and ring bells!
Please like, sub, and share the channel to help it grow! I put a lot of time into this video so it would put a smile on my face! Thanks!
UPDATE: 9000's bell is now working again! Will be heading there on the 12th! Expect another video on this! (or a short lol)
I work at RailGiants, and the reason that the bell was broken was because there was a leak in the airline going to the hose. I am unaware of how the piping inside of the locomotive is arranged, but we were informed to not let visitors both ring the bells and blow the whistles/horns at the same time, so maybe that had something to do with it breaking in the first place.
Everyone, I am sad to announce that the bell on the 9000 has stopped working, I was at the railings and they said it was broken. Im not sure it can be repaired but for now it looks like they cant. :(
Damn that’s a shame. I hope they get it fixed up soon.

I hadn't heard of this museum (being a Limey) but those are lovely engines - I really do like the little switcher.
This is the most coolest place I've ever seen and I'm going to go there with my mom one day
Sounds like they could use a bigger air compressor.
Yeah they should but it would make them too loud getting even more noise complaints from the residents and the nearby police house for the sheriff
American steam whistle have so much variety
Be a good idea for them to give AT&SF 3450 new operational parts so they can do excursions with her and excursions around the the Museum
It would but the museum is very small. The way the trains got there was from a branch of a union pacific line near Pomona, They all had to come on track that would be temporary. Not to mention that if they connected track to the mainline it would block the connection of getting in and getting out of the feroplex
That whistle on the 9000 sounds really interesting. Not bad for a locomotive that was built back in 1926. What kind of chime is that beautiful whistle?
Not sure what type of whistle 9000's is.Sorry
@@M_Miles I'm a railroad enthusiast and I think it's a low five chime whistle
It's a star brass short bell 5 chime
We all know for sure that 4014 is no longer at the museum anymore. This is the reason why I stop visiting this place for good reasons.
Just cuz 4014 left doesnt mean that everything else there isnt worth a visit lol
@@M_Miles I respect that. It's just my personal opinion.
what about 5021? (also did you blow 4014s before it was taken out for restoration?)
My mom forgot to record the 5021's bell and no i didnt get to blow 4014's whisle before it got taken out
Oh man...
I was hoping 5021s whistle was on this
@@RetinazerProductionsOfficial They say the whistle is running at 100 PSI so it's WAY too loud. They also blow it when it's early in the morning for a special event or something like that but the bell works!
@@M_Miles bell doesn’t work, I tried it in my video, wasn’t working, 5021’s whistle can apparently be blown now just as frequently as the others as back then, 5021’s whistle garnered complains from neighboring businesses, but the businesses went bankrupt in 2020 according to Railgiants, so now they allow you to blow it now
I found a recording of Union Pacific 9009
Is this the exhibit in Los Angeles County Fairplex Pomona?
Yes it is! Its only open when a new month starts on the second weekend. More info here: www.railgiants.org/explore.htm

Why is there blurring in the cabs?

Can I use timestamp 1:02 as a sound on Roblox?
Sure just provide credit
Sir, YOU ARE NOT PULLING THE CORDS FULLY
I was, If you would like to specify which locomotive I wasn't please do. I'm assuming you are talking about the 9000, There wasn't that much space to pull down on
@@M_Miles ATSF 5 chimes sound beautiful when full blast, so 3450.
@@1309westernmaryland They put restrictions on how much air pressure is in the whistle, I was lucky at the time, It was about 10 mins after opening so that's how high they put their air pressure, I pulled hard enough. With old steam locos it wouldn't sound the same to what you would look for
does the kid know what was he doing?
What?
@@M_Miles the kid in the video
The kid in the video is me. And yes I know what im doing
my bad bro 😥
@@M_Miles ive been hating on you im sorry for hating on bro i wish you the best
