He is only human..he lost his voice from all that rocking..paul stanley is still my favorite singer and guitarist because he is still what he was, he just grew old like all of us. If you was in his shoes then it would be the same for you. Paul,im sorry people dont understand your pain and all the dedication you gave to kiss for all these years. Thank you for doing the best you can
This was my slow dance pick at my high school prom. Nobody knew the song, but I waltzed with my date to it(and yes, I was on the prom court); singing it to her and watching her blush. Probably one of my favorite high school memories, thanks to KISS.
This is such a great song.. Always loved it.. Should have been worldwide known. Great guitarsolo by Paul on the album.. He has a great sence of melody.
I was 14 when heard Kiss for the first time, and I this song was one of the first song's from "Kiss" I've heard... such good memories... thank you for sharing.
I was 8 and too young to come across KISS in 1978 here in Japan when this song came out. In 1982 finally a friend of mine told me about KISS and my own KISSTORY began.I began collecting KISS catalogue and in 1984 I bought Paul's solo. This song has been my favorite since then.
This is fucking great! For an artist that has been around for ever, just fucking around and not giving a shit, just chillin with fans on a cruise? Fuck these nit picky comment assholes who go around criticizing every fucking minute of a person's life. This guy is a God to some of us old rockers and here he is trying to figure out a song he did 30 years ago for some fans and all he gets is negative comments? Piss off!
I came back in time for sure, only the kiss does this, great (Paul Stanley), because his talent and brilliance, makes an entire Universe shine stronger, for the good things in life, and his music is undoubtedly one of them ... the words of a passionate fan not only for his favorite band, but for a band that provided joy to all, for a lifetime ......
Hsisbslsb Jakbwkwbw b they shouldn’t be charging $1000 for tickets to a bad show then. Especially the guys who have said for four decades about how they would go out on top and not rip off the fans.
People here are commenting his voice sounds bad here. Compared to his voice now, it’s great. Tone-wise, this is a very breathy and soft falsetto, which is much worse than his much more defined falsetto used on the album. But he’s hitting all the notes and with the right rhythm and phrasing, which is much more than you can say for Paul today when he isn’t lip-syncing.
Just try and consider in these times its easy for us to want to see this vid for free from some amateur in the audience filming it. But I would encourage anyone to go to a show and sing along and not worry that the person next to you is recording.
He sounds really good here. I don’t know what all the negative comments. Sure it’s a little pitchy in some spots but every singer does that sometimes, young or old. He sounds really good
do you think maybe he could have practised BEFORE accepting people's cash ? anyway, this guy has moved on to a new career: big pharma needle pusher. good for you, mr. s. i hope you are proud.
I feel so sad for Paul. He has lost his voice completely! He cannot even stay on key, let alone slide effortlessly between chest voice and falsetto, like he did on the album. I fear that, as a singer, this will be MY fate as well after decades of belting my voice in the hard rock forum. The only consolation we might draw from his lack of control is that he DID have that throat operation (or probably many that we never hear of) and those operations are the cause of his lost voice. So sad. So tragic.
I bet you if he gave this great music to Olivia Newton-John ,Andy Gibb or some pop singer at that time (1978 )to sing it , it would’ve been a huge hit.
GabrielSC174 How can you defend something that sounds so terrible? I started listening to KISS in 78’ when I was four years old. Believe me, I know what I’m listening to. Stop being in denial.
One wonders what the Paul Stanley of 1974-2006 would this of this god-awful half-whispering, croaking performance. Great that he's doing the obscure song but really, does this qualify as singing? It's the same as seeing a pet struggle who needs to be put to sleep. Leave the party.

...play the album?
Agree
He lost his voice from age, not singing too often.
@@TheGodYouWishYouKnew it's both. Lol
Thanks for this words, it's so true.

It’s not a Kiss song , it’s off Paul’s solo album from 1978
Bless the man for trying ,I adore this song for so many reasons ❤
bless him for trying ? this guy is a complete joke.

When Paul is a "joke" for you, why are you watching him here? Explain!

Hermosa canción!!! Lastima que a Paul la voz ya no le da más. Igualmente amo a KISS, y está canción me trae muchos recuerdos de mi adolescencia.

You guys do realize that not everyone has the voice they once had before, right?

Excellent
very nice song by mr Paul Stanley,
06:00-06:10 reminds me of stairway to heaven guitar intro.
In his prime he was never given the credit he deserved as a great singer, so it's only fair that we give him a break in the twilight of his career.

My mom liked this song.

Clueless!

I’m covering this song on my project.

If You Listen To The Original..It's Not Far From The Mark...
At least there's no lip syncing goin' on! 😂
74-2001kicked ass...long overdue for retirement. They are embarrassing

Why Paul, Why? Stop this shit right now.

I couldn’t make it through the whole song. I felt too embarrassed for him.
Anubis22774 too bad for you.
GabrielSC174 How can you defend something that sounds so terrible? I started listening to KISS in 78’ when I was four years old. Believe me, I know what I’m listening to. Stop being in denial.
Anubis22774 you worry too much about me. Get a life
ugh.....it was painful listening to his vocals....and I absolutely love this song....
a little pitchy there mr. Stanley but other than that great tune
I don't know why he even attempted it,,
Talk about screwing up a great song

do us all a huge favor and take your whining complaining butt somewhere else
Well smart if you think this is awesome then you need to get some doctor to examine your ears😅
He's wasted!
Awful!
This is just mumbling and bad falsetto! Paul WAS a great singer. This is just plain Horrible!
horrible awful terrible
What a boring song.
