I work a month ahead. I use the income from December for my plan for January. It has taken a while to stay a month ahead, but if you can, it's definitely helpful. ESPECIALLY if you don't have a consistent income (i.e., overtime and bonuses). Or, if you know your BASE salary, use that and then months where there is overtime or a bonus, SAVE as much as you can!

I do make tarts and sale as a side hustle. So i order the stuff off amazon that i neee for that plus if we need anything else ill get half way through month but i put it back pday tho

That's how I budget. I have to be 1-3 months ahead on everything if I can.
