I like the popup to the plume feather tutorial. It is much slower and more detailed. I also like that the popup has the link to the free weekly quilting diagrams and tip sheet. The link is not up very long and I am not sure everyone noticed it. It is a tiny white circle on the upper right corner, it turns into a tiny white banner and if you click on it it takes to to the links. I highly recommend it. Love all Angela's videos. She keeps me company while I sew.

Wow, did we just take a big dive? Last week, it was one stitch but now I just got overwhelmed with so much information. It seems, this week is not only Leaves, but Paisleys, Thread Painting and Ferns, Plumes
    Too Much!!!! Yikes.....
Why was this all cramed into one week???

Some of it is optional, and most of it builds on the same basic shape.

Wonderful options and demonstrations, Angela. I wonder if that thread painting in that one area will distort the other areas of the quilt that are not stitched as heavily ??

Hello Angela, I’m following your amazing tutorials from Switzerland so obviously the time gap is hudge , but no problem I just try to find my time to sit and watch your videos. Your a great teacher and like to thank you very much for your time and patience with your explanations. It’s very difficult to find anyone into patchwork/quilting here let alone finding the materials. I have bought several of your books online but watching your videos makes me see the light clearer 😂😂 Thank you again

Question on going back and forth. I got the leaves down as one of my first successes some years ago so liking the bud..teardrop...paisley versions to that. Love ideas for taking it to a next shape...on my sewing machine it’s a huge challenge getting the shapes larger (long arm hard to get it smaller). One of my quilts I started on my sewing machine did some long arm on a friend’s LA then finished on my sewing machine. PROBLEM I had was there were more puckers going back and forth ANY TIPS for that? (Pinned basted all the same way)

HELP? Angela, I just got my first long-arm (HQ Amara) this month. I'm finding I'm no where near ready to do an actual quilt yet. I'm practicing as much as I can. I've got your books and have tried those skills builders as well as videos. I've been practicing circles over and over in many different sizes since that's a biggie for so many designs. Wavy lines are also jerky at the moment. BUT, I'm finding my biggest problem is echoes. How do you practice distance for echoes? I've not found the "sweet spot" of where to look at the foot to see that it's echoing at the right spacing. So much depends on echoing and spacing, what's a good way to practice those on a practice sandwich to get to where I can start applying it to various motifs?

Practice it will get easier! This is one I get already but I like some of her different versions and densities.try on a busy fabric matching threads where it doesn’t got to be perfect 😍 so the teardrop one I ended up too round but still a cool variation and it will be some practice to get the teardrop right...

This reminds me of when I was in kindergarten and the principal called me down to his office and asked me to draw some simple shapes like a circle, square, and a triangle. I was horrified that what I drew didn’t look anywhere near like it was supposed to! I said “let me try again, let me try again!“ And he just said “that’s OK, it’s fine.“ I was shocked that what I saw in my head was not what came out on the paper! (It was an assessment of sorts. Did that with all the kids, and apparently I was right on par for my age. But I was not too happy about it! I felt like I would be viewed as an idiot for life!) But with practice, my hand and brain eventually synced up! I guess that’s why we need practice; it’s a new skill we’ve never done before and our brain has to learn to sync up with our hands. We can do it! 🧵 🌷
