J7 pro is obviously the better phone. (No bias) it's has better camera and build quality. But the j7 prime is cheaper version if, if you can't afford the j7 pro. Still prime isn't half bad.

A case it's good to prevent against deep scratches, and dust still get in the case holes, which causes those slight scratches that gives it an old appearance.
