I'm a photographer (with a Bachelor's degree lol) and I'm really not into paparazzi. But I do somewhat sympathise with why they are being so direct to get the men out of their shot. They're being paid to take the photographs of one of the biggest events of the year. If someone is in your way/in your shot, you probably won't be asked in future to partake (by a magazine or website) or no one will buy your photos off you to use for publication. Plus it's so loud, that direct demands are sometimes necessary.
