      Sources? As far as I know, eren is the sole contributor to all of this. The writer had 4 endings planned for the show and did a last minute adjustment to the ending before releasing the manga. He reworked this ending episode so that the show made more sense and clarity to the ending. That's been the community's understanding as far as I have seen anywhere I look. Google even says that. I googled "did eren kill his mom" and it came back with a positive answer towards this. I don't know where you got your sources from, but as far as I saw, this is the only claim that says this.

      @@DevilWearsAdidas Yeah, but at the same time; the entire community also believes that Reiner not dying back in S3 was plot armor, even though it is explained clearly that one of his powers as the Armored titan is to transfer his consciousness throughout his body. The characters even states "is that another titan power?" - And all of this went over everyones heads for some reason i still don't know.
      Anyway, my point is. The community is often not the brightest at discerning what is or isn't confirmed or canon within the story.

    I’m a Japanese fan of Attack on Titan. I’ve watched many Western reactors’ channels for this series, but most of them just scream loudly during the viewing, constantly talk about their own thoughts without paying attention to the characters' lines or actions, or only get excited about the battle scenes without understanding the deeper messages of the story. Among all that, I thought your reaction was truly wonderful. As a Japanese fan, I feel really happy about it.

    46:14 the leaf and the ball respectively resemble moments of happiness for zeke and armin. the two were arguing about whether life was worth living if in the end everyone will die and there is immeasurable suffering in the world. the ball and leaf act as reminders that though there may not be an all encompassing meaning to life, the important thing about life is being able to have even the simplest moments of happiness. and those small moments are what give human beings purpose and a reason to live thereby rejecting the way eren and ymir view the world

    • @kyomu-sv7gj
      @kyomu-sv7gj ปีที่แล้ว

      But in the end, these moments only make sense to those who have already been born. If you were not born, then nothing from this world worries you, so there is no point in multiplying and forcing someone to play a game of survival in this world

    • @lughkvj216
      @lughkvj216 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Being born or not is not a question for those who were never born, only those who can give birth, or have been given birth can think about it, meaning that being birth is either a selfish act from your parents for forcing someone to suffer pain and sadness, or a benevolent act for making you experience pleasurable feelings?
      Denying or agreeing to this won't change the fact that life is meaningless and pointless, but does it need to have a meaning? We've seen armin and zeke telling each other how happy there were with the most simple stuff. They told us that they felt like their lives could be either playing baseball or running down to a tree, does life have to have a meaning if you're having fun?

    Eren Jaeger
    If you search for ``Jaeger'', you will find that ``Jaeger'' means the name of a bird called ``skua''.
    Intelligent Titans can recover when they are human, but unlike Intelligent Titans, pure Titans do not recover when they are human.
    Based on this, it can be predicted that if an innocent giant were to become a human, humans with past physical injuries would be cured of their physical injuries once they became a giant.
    This is because his physical injuries were healed when he became a pure titan.
    (Human time (finger cut off) → Innocent giant transformation (finger restoration) → Humanization (finger restoration)
    So, it is determined that the physical injuries of the innocent humans who turned into giants during the final battle other than the island have been healed, and the physical injuries of Peak's father and Annie's adoptive father have been cured.

    If you look closely at the credit sequence (of the tree over the years), you can see Mikasa with a child and other people visiting Eren's grave, and the man in the scene looks a lot like Jean. Nothing is really confirmed, but it sort of hints towards her having a family after Eren. It seemed to be well over 100 years that the island was in peace before the next war, and we know that Mikasa died way before then because it shows her old in her grave still wearing Eren's scarf. A bittersweet but satisfying ending.

It was foreshowed in the first scene of season 4 episode 1. When he was lying on the ground looking at the sky trying to reach the flying bird. 2. The bull titan(bighorn sheep) was Ksaver beast titan. 3. The baby scene was inspired from the movie Schindler's List. Bonus: 32:06 this scene was supposed to be a funny scene :D, Mikasa is having a hard time telling Annie what beast titan Armin was in because there is no Okapi inside the walls.

    During zeke's and armin's conversation, they were actually seeing different objects, armin saw a pile of sand, and zeke saw a castle, armin saw a leaf, zeke saw a ball. This is because the paths were created by ymir as an escape room from the cruel reality she had to face as a slave. The paths are a space that connects everyone with her blood where time doesn't exist, and where she could build and see anything
    But since zeke and armin are both in the paths, they could also use the same properties of the paths
    Armin wanted to help his friends, and after showing his opinions about life, zeke also wanted to stop eren, and then the help came in the form of some past titan shifters that they had contact with

    I will miss watching these with you!!! But also, this show is even better on second watch. It will blow your minds. If you have the time, watch it on your own. Insane!

    There was an interview with the author of AOT. I don’t have the source unfortunately but he stated that he actually had this ending already in mind when he started the first episode. That’s why there are so many parallels between the first and the last couple episodes.
    The tree on the hill; eren as a kid crying after his nap and Mikala crying after her nap in the alternative future eren showed her; so on and so forth
    So well written, very sad but perfect ending to this anime!

    Falco in italian is the name of the falcon bird. And a lot of names of the marleyans are Italian names, like Nicolo and Porco (Porco means pig in italian lol). And the interesting part is that the names of the people that lives in Paradis are german names. There are a lot of references to n*zism and f*scism. AOT is a masterpiece.

    How sad! The end has arrived. But you have finally finished watching this great work.
    Incredible story, brutal character development, crazy animation, voice dubbing at its finest... transmitting all the feeling of each moment, plot twists never seen before, great character closure and a totally magnificent soundtrack, without a doubt one MASTERPIECE.
    The ending is sad, it was impossible for you not to cry. I have been following your reactions for a long time, and you were very involved in the story, therefore anything that happened with the characters directly hurt you.
    What's more, in my case, I already cried when I saw it at the time.... I cried again with you. And not just the ending, I cried at all the same moments as you (it's incredible knowing that I had already seen the episode). But this series conveys so much and so do you, that I have relived it all again as if it were the first time.
    I have seen that many have been answering your questions through the comments. If you have any left, write it down. There are some videos in which they explain the ending very well and pay tribute to Isayama's work.
    Anyway! Thank you very much for sharing these videos, your adventure and your emotions! Greetings couple!

    There was a huge piece of foreshadowing that was cut out of the anime. In the very first chapter of the manga, before Eren woke up from his "really long dream" under the tree, he saw Mikasa saying goodbye. And the first thing he asks her when he wakes up was "why is your hair so long?"

  • @jite320
    @jite320 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    1:53:56 their are togeter.
    in the end credits scene, Mikasa with a man and a child togeter visit Eren's grave.
    That man might be Jean, because his hair look like him.

    • @lmao7183
      @lmao7183 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In the manga it's strongly heated it is Jean but there is room to argue in the anime that it didn't happen.
      First, when Mikasa dies she's buried near Eren. Second, she is buried with his scarf while holding 6 White lilies. The number 6 represents, "I want to be yours" and the color White for lilies, in Japanese culture, represents purity. So that's a strong hint she never move on.
      Also one could argue that the man was actually Armin because that same man came back much older man to visit her and Eren's grave.
      This is kind of symbolic because it would indicate their death order matches the order they had in the races they ran as kids. That is Eren being first, Mikasa second and Armin last.
      But that's just my take.

    This anime is totally different than the others. It represent how our world really is : a war, political conflict, corruptions, relationship, betrayal, loss of love, rebellion and revolutionaries... Books often say that our country is the good side in the war, but actually we're not like that in enemies' perspective. 🙂

    Great reaction guys🤩🤩
    Here are some facts you might have missed:
    -What appeared first was the pig and Ymir, now we know that Ymir was the one who actually released the pig (because she was jealous that King Fritz was getting married)
    -If you look at the robe Levi wore in the last episode, it was too big for him even though the robes worn by scout always fit, so we know that the robe Levi wearing is Erwin's
    -Reiner's ability to survive a colossal titan explosion is demonstrated in the episode when Reiner and Bertholdt first reveal their identities and kidnap Eren
    -Eren always close his eyes when rumbling so he can't see people's suffering and open his eyes to see Mikasa one last time
    -Armin told Zeke that he was the last person to get to the tree and he was also the last person alive to visit Eren and Mikasa's grave at the tree ( you can see the old Armin in the credits scene )
    -Eren said that he was an idiot to Armin because this was the ending he could get so that his friends could live a long, he wondered if Attack Titan and Founding Titan were in Armin maybe they didn't need rumbling and killing each other to get freedom ( because we know that he is the smartest )
    -1:34:31 This scene is the same as Armin being a hero and defending Eren if he was human when the scouts thought he was a titan and dangerous for humanity in the first season
    -not all 20% of humans could accept what happened in "rumbling" but they couldn't do anything at that time because their numbers were still small but their revenge was still there so after hundreds or thousands of years the war happen again and the world of Titan happen again ( kid went into the tree) history repeats itself

    • @Gferss
      @Gferss ปีที่แล้ว +2

      - Samuel (the person Conny shot) was the person at the start of Eren's team when the Colossal Titan 2nd appeared, so Sasha saved him but Conny killed him
      -And we know that Armin was the narrator in the first season

  • @hypershadow87
    @hypershadow87 ปีที่แล้ว

    *"since the beningingning"* 😂🤣 *I'm glad you two liked the show. And yes, the creator (Hajime Isayama) knew the direction he wanted to take the story in from page one. Originally he had planned to end the story with everyone dying. However, when he saw how popular it had become sometime after season one had come out and it became a worldwide phenomenon, he said he wouldn't do that to the fans since it would be an irresponsible ending. He said he wanted to give the fans something much better. I think he did great. Also, random tidbits of info, Sasha was originally written to die in episode two of season two in a very brutal way, but he changed it at the last minute. I forgot the reason. And also, in the manga, the Ackerman clan was super powerful because they were originally half human, half titan super soldiers created to protect the king against his enemies. That's why Mikasa, Levi and Kenny are so strong and fast. The show never covered this though. One more thing since I just heard your fake spoilers you saw, Mikasa did die at the end of the credits and they show her lying down with flowers on her chest. She died of old age though, so although it didn't happen during the episode itself technically, that was the only spoiler that was true.*

    The boy at the end reaching the tree shows that even though history repeats, it's not the same
    Ymir got chased by dogs into the tree by violence
    Now a dog leads the boy into the tree with curiosity
    Maybe I am reaching with this, but also I am pretty sure the parasite is completely dead, thus there won't be Titans
