@@ronmurphy810the man is knowledgeable, and how would you know he’s lying? He keeps it personal , I couldn’t care less if he does , he works hard and has done for decades
That's really true. Started watching these a few months ago. Don't like but got over his unnatural stuff REAL fast. He's like, put in the WORK and figure out what works for you.
Did he say something? I played it a few times and it’s just a random run on sentence with no context?? Is he talking about hopping on gear after a checkup? Okay Mike I’ll check my cardiovascular 👍
Mike's absolutely right and he's approaching this in two ways: 1) to empower you in fitness, 2) a scientific approach to understanding your unique body
You have to constantly tweak things and find what works best for you nothing is cookie cutter or works for everyone you have to not be afraid to try new things
Not only this but the thing that will work best for you is the thing that is sustainable for you. O'Hearns protocols won't work for me, not because I'm not capable but because I can't sustain his lifestyle in the long run.
I really Like Mike O’Hearn. Despite what many people in the world might say. He not only gives great advise but is very humble and very easy to listen to.
REALLY good advice! The most effective tips I’ve learned over decades of lifting didn’t come from someone’s advice, but by following my own intuition and trying different things out.
Smart and honest advice that you wont find most other places. What works for Mike isn't going to be optimal for you. So far I haven't heard Mike throw out macros numbers like the others because they'll be different. Enjoy the process. I listened to so many people about my calories instead of experimenting myself and giving things time.
I admire his dedication to health and fitness. But what i really admire is that he’s 55 and looks dam amazing. And I’m 50 and I look great . It just gives us lots of hope !! I’m afraid of getting old and losing my body 😢
Fair play , Mike is correct , the longer you are in this game the less you are constantly looking for external answers and start looking internally instead of
I wouldn't say pissed....id rather say ANNOYED more than anything. Bcuz he believes that everyone has to figure out what works for them and their bodies. What works for him won't necessarily work for you or the other guy
It was in one of his videos he mentions lower reps for older guys as its "low mileage" on the joints etc. Huge light bulb moment for me. So simple and obvious but I hadn't heard it before. Cheers
It’s undisputed that cardio health is vital. So many bodybuilders have passed too early as a result of carrying massive amounts of weight and the heart can’t keep up. That’s just a medical fact not opinion.
So important listen to the best and try it the old saying is true do it don't talk about it the great voice is like his are drowned out by the people that are putting their 2 cents in!
My friend watches all the videos to learn the easy way he saw me last week and was like what the heck how did you lose so much weight I told him we'll i was working out when he was watching videos lol I only watch videos after my work outs lol lol
I switch between high carb and low carb. I take a bite of meat and cheese, then a bite of cake. Take a drink of eggnog, then a drink of beer. Take a bite of ice cream, then a bite...etc. I have gained 250 pounds in 6 months. BEEFCAKE!
Why? People think that steroid use is an easy shortcut to obtaining fitness. It isnt. Its for the elite few who have already pushed themselves to the point where their body breaks & thats the only way to help with recovery. You don’t just stick a needle in & see results.
Dude people dk if or when they should change anything. We don’t know if we’re getting jacked to fast or to slow. We also don’t have the time to just switch our routines for maybe 4mos for no reason maybe no change happens and we wasted all that time changing for what reason

Make sense, just the heavy weight issue on joints could be an issue, I guess we use common sense. Thanks for the info. 👍😉
I guarantee most people spend more time watching videos on getting in shape than actually getting in shape. (I include myself in that tbf)
