Dark Glass Tone Capsule demo with Aguilar AG 4J-HC pickups (no talking)

Newly built Guitarbuild.co.uk jazz bass fitted with a Darkglass onboard tone capsule and Aguilar noiseless jazz bass pickups. My signal chain is a ThorpyFX Fat General Compressor into the Nordstrand Audio Starlifter preamp. I start the video with the DG running flat.

Did you stick with the tone capsule or swap it out?

It's still in there, I like it buuuut it doesn't have the warmth of other preamps, it's definitely a good preamp though

What would you call this color on your bass?

It's a mix between 2 stains from crimson guitars and finished with danish oil

@@MckinleyDjents I stained it crimson red, sanded back and put their orange on top, sanded back and another round of the orange
