    I like the Dyna better, especially with the dual front brakes and chrome. I’m not buying the propaganda that black is the new chrome. BS! It’s just cheaper to keep Harley bean counters happy. If I want to go 100+mph, I’ll buy a sport bike.

      I'm with you on the chrome vs black. It's just a fad.

    My Dyna doesn’t wobble. And it isn’t limited to 120 mph. Softails are just…soft.

    • @DoWhateverfilms
      @DoWhateverfilms  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Do you have stock mounts? Is it all about suspension?

    • @Robby_Rides_31
      @Robby_Rides_31 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@DoWhateverfilms I do have the stock mounts front and rear and I keep them fresh. Some people will change the oil and let all the spill get onto the rubber of the mount which slowly degrades it. Suspension definitely plays a huge part and neither softails nor dynas come with great suspension.

    i was a dyna man with my 2007 super glide custom but in september of last year i traded for a 2020 fatboy 114, it rides like a dream!!!!!!!!!

    I agree, but I like the Twin Cam sound better.

    All I heard was the two bikes are factory rated to go 120 but the Dyna wobbles when you get there. Call me what you want, I don't go 120, don't care to go 120, and if I did I wouldn't be looking to do it on a Harley. Nothing against the Softtail at all, they are nice bikes too, but the Dyna platform embodies the essence of Harley. The aftermarket has limitless support for Dynas and the have just enough modern factory amenities to keep them on the road more than in your garage.

    • @DoWhateverfilms
      @DoWhateverfilms  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Then this video is not for you. I'll always have my Dyna, but them softails get it boy! What would you do 120 on, like a Vstar or something japanese?

    • @nonyabiz1209
      @nonyabiz1209 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The aftermarket for the soft tail is lacking what???😂😂 I own both. I haven't had a problem finding many aftermarket parts for either platform. I like them both. City riding I'm on the Dyna, highway I choose the soft tail. If I HAD to choose only one it would be the soft tail. To each thier own, enjoy your ride!

    If I was to do 120 it wouldn't be on a Harley. My heritage m8 is just fine at 75'...max.

      Really? 75? To each his own I guess.

    My 03 FXDL doesn't wobble at any speed and it has stock factory mounts.. been riding since a kid and you can't go 120 anywhere in this county and not ending up in jail. In my opinion, Dyna's are a great local and short trip bikes, if long distances and comfort are desired, nothing beats the Touring models...

    • @DoWhateverfilms
      @DoWhateverfilms  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Kinda confused by that comment. As a boost wizard, do you just run 7lbs up to 80 miles per hour and shut er down for the blow off sound?

    I have a 17' Die-na low rider S and do 120+ regularly, 2up aswell.No wobble. But I do change my motor mounts out every 2-3 seasons or so. Would love to try a new Low rider S tho!

    I couldn’t do long trips on my old Dyna wide glide. My ass would kill me after awhile. Heritage softail I can ride for days. I didn’t realize how much more plush riding they are. Wide glide was an awesome bike though. It just wasn’t very good for long distances

    Hate the plastic intake manifolds on the m8. Very cheap shit

    • @DoWhateverfilms
      @DoWhateverfilms  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I mean they work, and harley does sell a metal one if you don't trust plastic, but we've got one here with 93k miles on it, plastic.

    • @enrico1856
      @enrico1856 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah they work until they warp or melt. I know I can buy a metal one and replace it , just seems stupid to me that I have to replace a crucial part on a close to 180000€ bike cause the moco cheaped out on it, along with the plastic lifter cuffs. 😢

    Id go with the softail do suspension mods and a cam and be done with it performance wise. 120hp it'll be fast for a harley.

    I have a dyna wide glide stage 4 s.e. stage 4 pro kit,tbr etc..its very custom but i wanted more of a riders bike,did i buy a low rider s softail?nope i bought a dyna street bob,120r engine 130hp,130trq,wide glide front end with performance internals,twin disc,p.m.calipers 6 pot,21inch front wheel,super trapp 2 in to 1,tru track mounts front and rear,wilbers fully adjustable coil overs,and h.d oil cooler let me tell you boys,it hits 120mph in 4th gear on the limiter with 5 and sixth pulling hard.its a lot of bike and i like the nostalgia in it compared to new m8 bikes wich are more advanced,smoother but i like the harley rumble and feel i dont want smooth and modern in a harkey.i want hot rod on wheels a bad ass out law bike you know what i mean?anyway different strokes for different folks what ever your riding have a blast and stay upright.

    My Softail Lowrider st M8 117 is the best of both worlds. I can shoot across town or from one coast to the other, and boy, is it quick. Not as fast as my Kawasaki but quick. Not to mention, it's the only stock HD that can beat a stock Indian in the respective classes.

    I picked up a 2004 FXDX fuel injected last summer. I replaced the tires and motor mounts but it needs: front and rear brakes, cam chain tensioners, new clutch cable, front and rear suspension, exhaust, and of course dynoed. Parts alone I'm well over $5,000. It's rideable now, but severely unsafe due to the brake situation. I'm highly considering getting out from underneath it and hitting the flooded used bike market for a low mile M8 streetbob. Decisions decisions.

    So agree.except why ride 120 !I own a 2016 dyna. It’s great ! For what it is. But new softail frames and rigid stress member motor mounts B motors . Are just a better handling design ! It mixes the good part of my Dina, and the good part of my old soft tails to make the best of both Bikes

    My Dyna FatBob to me is the ultimate Dyna Interstate Bike...The heaviest of the Dyna's..706lbs...Big 16in 130 tire for absorbing the Interstate road at 80mph...Dual Front Disc...Foward Controls...Just add Saddlebags...Memphis Shades Batwing Fairing...and a nice touring Seat...and you have a nice one up tourer...a 700lb Big Twin...

    That Black Dyna is way better looking than the softy imho. I love Dyna's, I'm keeping my '15 Low Rider. I've owned many Dyna's and never had this wobble you speak of???? But to each his own. By all means if the softail makes your heart beat then get it!
