Love my 01 FXDX. SE cam chest/oil pump, gear drive, .510 cams, Supertrapp, Mikuni, Jagg oil cooler. I also went back to mid controls....way more comfortable
@@EvanRobertsonHD1 I read you have to mess with the wiring for it to turn on the brake light. Something about the switch is reversed? Did you run across that?
@@PatrickM831 yeah that is true, but I'm just not running a front brake switch now. I think you can use a pressure style switch at one of the fittings on the brake line, I may try that in the future, but right now I just gotta use the foot brake to show brake lights. I'm used to doing that on old bikes anyway
Yeah, last owner got them from Galfer, they could probably be an inch or two shorter but they would still hang out in the breeze like they do now. On really highly customized bikes, sometimes they run brake lines inside the fork tube, but that's not for me.

Great bike mate, I just bought a mikuni hsr42 for my 02 DX, and now thinking time go with a feuling cam chest and S&S 509 cam.

Born Scum.... 🤙💨💯
did you install the brembo or was that already on?
We installed it, got it from TC Bros for a 1" bar, wasn't that bad of a job, just had to flush the dot 5 out of the lines and calipers and run dot 4

QUICK QUESTION: Is there any way(advice); How to clean up the two-front brake cables? S o they are not so prevelant/ noticeable, seen sticking out?
