MOWING HIGHER DURING HEATWAVE! BUMP THAT DECK UP!!

It is important on most yards during the dog days of summer to raise your cutting height to prevent from burning the grass out too much. They are calling for record heat this summer so I am trying to keep some of my lawns from burning up. Mowing a bit higher can help keep your grass a bit more drought resistant. I normally mow this property on 4 inches or so but today with the 95 degree heat this week I mowed this nice lawn on 4.5 inches. Check out the beautiful stripes the VRide lays down. i do the same. 27 years in the business. im now 80 years old an working solo about 30 hours per week an i own 6 scag mowers.

@@GRASSNBASS we just got a standing mower and it is so niceee, but this past week has been absolutely brutal with the heat. Smart man mowing it higher, I live in connecticut and most lawncare companies around here just burned tf outta tere lawns mowing at 3.25

@@hamgoggles767 I love the stand on mowers they are my go to! I never mow lower than 4 inches when it gets this hot. You don’t want to burn them out and you want to be able to come back next week and cut again to make more money!
