- Hey guys, we're back on the 1963 VW Beetle full restoration. We're gonna be tackling the rear apron fitment as it's an aftermarket panel and sure to not be quite right. Come along for the ride!

Dubwerks, for all that is good in the universe, please clean and organize your garage. A perfect car deserves a perfect workspace! It’s also easier to find parts and tools! 😉
That is organized... LOL
Nice job, Dub! You're turning into a real pro. When are you opening your own restoration shop?
looking good
Thanks Mike!
I’ve spent more time looking for things at times then just go getting another one. Usually it’s close enough it could have bitten me. Thanks much for the bug video!
Very cool, just watched you guys pull out Herbie
If I ever wrote an honest autobiography, for sure the appropriate title would be, "Something Has Gone Awry." Hahaha.
I bet Jay has the piece you’re missing with him 😂 going to be a nice beetle I can’t wait to see it come together more
LOL Probably took it for one of his.
Subscribed and ready to see your bug come together. You're smart for keeping your cut-offs... Doing that has saved my bacon so many times.
Thanks Greg! Yeah, it definitely saved me this time!
A cut disc on a dremel to cut welds and do less damage to surounding metal. Surprisingly fast.
Good to know!
View #50 at 5:21PM on 9/8/23 in NJ - Didn't you show us that piece on the front hood.
That's the outer quarter, my inner piece is still gone LOL
That looks like trying to glue and eggshell back together blindfolded. Cheers
LOL
Regarding the missing part: did you check the couch?
I'm a very good welder and autobody guy but these Bug bodies are rust buckets, I'd be looking to see if anyone made an exact fiberglass repro body for one and just buy it and install it. You'de have a far better car when you're done.
You’ve got your work cut out for you with this one Robbie but it’ll look great when finished
Thanks 👍
even when you are orgainised things still get mislaid.
Take it from me happens to the best of us.
Happens to me all the time, can't stand it LOL
@DubWerks me neither drives me mad .
Nothing like misplacing something, that you need. Been there, done that. I have spend hours/days organizing parts/tools for projects. Still find a way misplace stuff.😤
Still haven't found it...
@DubWerks
Try organizing your tools and the area around the 63. Hopefully, it will help.
Hate it when that oftenly happens. Put something down and 💨. Bet ya its right in front of you and you didn't see it? See ya around.
I can't even begin to understand where the stuff goes! Going to T-Fest?
Hope you find the missing body part. Give it hell.
I hope so LOL
With all due respect sir, how can you see anything like missing parts or the body work you are doing through your dirty eyeglasses? 🙂 At the same time, kudos on the recent Herbie rescue!
The dirty is from a recent body work adventure LOL Need to clay bar them...
