I applaud your attention to detail and clear explanation, mainly about what to do in case something goes wrong (so you won't have to start all over again!). However, just a suggestion: remove the word "easy" from the title! 😅
I had a weird issue where I disappeared after dropping the weapon and couldn't pick it back up. I then saved and loaded. After I wasn't able to pick up any items and when I would glide the camera zoomed in funny. I fixed this by doing the glitch again until I had another fused shield and then destroyed the fused control stick on the shield. This fixed it and you'll be able to pick up items again.

Even tho I’ll never glitch or dupe just not who I am as a gamer. But this explanation is good for the people that want the easy way.
