- "Bad News" is a traditional hot rod built in the spirit of the wilder side of what teenagers/young adults were building back in the early 1960s out of old left over car parts. The sole purpose of these machines was to haul ass and look cool. This lil hot rod was put together by the Burbank Choppers rod & custom club in 2 short months while being filmed for the TV show Rides. This episode was titled "Rat Rods" but the show defended the disgust the club has for that term. The episode originally aired around the globe about 13 years ago and can still be viewed on the internet.

This is my favorite hot rod on the planet. I remember watching them build it on rides. Love at first sight. Dream car.

Discovered your channel today, I really enjoyed the content. I'm sure another million people already told told you how your dad inspired them to build cars, but I doubt it's something that ever gets annoying 😅 So anyways, great to see the old cars back on the road, any plans on meeting the other Choppers?

@@FourSpeedFilms ah, would be cool to know, Buildng Mopeds and i have a Hercules from the 90s, has the same frame as the ones from the 70s, want to make it look like an old Flat Racer or Drag Bike, so Tires like that would look awesome.
