@LD8006 I use Medik8. I started at the lowest dosage and have gone up with each tube. I have not experienced any flaking, redness, or discomfort/irritation. Hope this helps.
I have just discovered you and I like what I see. I am 67 and I thought I should start taking better care of my skin and I have just started using serums. I am learning about them and how to not use 3 serums at once. You seem to use a lot of different products and I am learning a lot from you. I like to use sunscreen, too, and I don't like the ones that take a long time to rub in and like you, I don't like the ones that leave me feeling greasy, especially on my face. I thought knowing that you are so honest and do not do sponsored video’s/content I would try something you have recommended. Being that I am older than you - I have been looking after my skin so well since at least 16 yrs old - never lie out in the sun and always protect my skin and never go to bed with makeup on etc. - I was not expecting to see a marked difference. I have purchased the self-esteem, beauty sleep, and so far I like it, I don’t know if I’ve noticed a huge difference, but my face does look a bit better for being 70 years old. Now I’ve also ordered their”self esteem” neck firming lift, and I do see how it does soften the wrinkles on my neck.
My question is, have you ever tried the MAELYS B- Poised neck firming cream? I saw it advertised so much I had to try it and I don’t know which one I feel works the best.

Sheri, I want to thank you for introducing me to Dermelect. I've been using it for a week now and it's made sucha difference with my tired looking complexion. Not only do I love it, but their customer service is beyond amazing. I ordered my first vial for a site other than their website. The product was dark amber colored and smelled like a tawny port wine. I could not take the scent but was concerned about the color. I tried reading about the color change online but nothing mentioned from what I consider to be a reputable source confirming that the amber color didn't affect the efficacy. So, I decided to call Dermelect. 1. THEY ANSWERED! Quickly too!! And a real live human!! LOL 2. She confirmed the amber color and scent did not affect the efficacy but since the scent bothered me, she asked for my info so she could send me out a new vial. I sheepishly confessed I didn't buy it from them directly and the woman told me that didn't matter. What mattered is that I was completely satisfied with their product. She mailed me out a new bottle the next morning and I received it a day or so later. And to top that off, when I received the package a day or so later, she also included a $10 off coupon of my next purchase. Who does that????? I was so impressed I signed up and will only buy from the direct now. What an amazing company with exemplary customer service. Thanks again!!!

I’m trying to use up what I have in skincare before tempted to buy/try more, but I do have to tell you-I love the Hada Labo eye cream you recommended a few years ago. I still use it and keep it on hand with other eye creams I have.
I keep one in my purse too to refresh my under-eyes if they feel dry or look crepey. 😊

Sheri, thanks to your recommendation, I now use and love the Dermelect Self Esteem serum. Can you share how often and when you use the TNS growth factor serum along with the Dermelect serum?
I bought the Demalec duel and so far I love it, I don’t know if I’ve seen a change, but it has only been a little under two weeks and it does feel nice on the skin and I love the neck cream!
I think I’ll try the serum a few times in the morning as well, and I’ll top it off with my favorite tinted moisturizer, which is Dermatology’s universal tinted moisturizer with SPF46. That is the third thing I cannot live without! It makes my skin glow like nothing else has😊
I love that routine. That's what I do in the morning is top it with my DRMTLGY SPF. That's one of the very BEST SPF's on the market! Even my husband and brother in law are hooked on it. LOL

It’s apparently 5% Retinol, but non irritating, even for beginners!? I’ve never used retinol before😮 I’d like to try the Beauty Sleep Serum and the Retinol together. I was also planning on buying the “M.A.D SKINCARE MAXIMUM ACTIVE DERMACEUTICALS Brightening Fade Gel 6”. Would that be overdoing things?😅

Seeing both reviews is so confusing. Which one do we buy? They both seem game changing and amazing.
You don't need to buy either. Just use what works best for you. These are just 2 of my personal faves. These are both 2 completely different serums that do 2 different things. They both are total game changers for me. Now if you are looking to buy something new and need amazing exfoliation and glow and tightening of your pores then the Dermelect Self Esteem Beauty Sleep Serum is what I'd pick. If you have more mature skin and you want to firm up your skin & help lift sagging skin and if it's in your budget to splurge then the SkinMedica TNS is fabulous. But again these are just 2 products that are game changers for my skin. Perhaps you already own something that you already love and you don't need to go out and buy anything new. 💜

I’m wondering do you know the percentage of salocyl acid in it, since I’ve been searching for a good serum with > 2%, say somthong around the 5,7 or 10% since I feel thats a more effective dose. Want to use it to unclog my pores. Thats what I want to focus on first ( unclogging) and then later add or replace it by a vitamin c or aomething that would brighten and reduce the pore size ( especially on nose and cheeks).

During the Black Friday Sales I finally broke down & purchased the TNS SERUM. It's been almost 7wks of use & I can say that my skin looks awesome, better then ever & my jowls & neck have finally started to tighten up (I noticed about a wk ago) now at the 2wk mark of use I did notice a wee lil bit of something but nothing to say OMG...I will repurchase a 2nd bottle to see if i can get more tighting with longer use. Oh that's so awesome to hear. TNS is such a unique and amazing serum. Best GF serum I've ever used. Try to use just a half a pump and you'll get the same results but it will last longer. And use on clean dry skin with no other serum underneath for maximum results. And I know, I never see anyone talk about Dermelect. I did get a face cream from them a couple years ago and it was such small sample, I didn't even test it on my face. I think I even gave it away LOL so I never paid much attention to the brand. I wish I had sooner...now I want to buy everything and test it out. Haha!

I'd say nay LOL I wouldn't use under my eyes because your under eye area most likely doesn't need this type of acid on it. May make them look super dried out. 🫣 yes the Olay eye cream is fine because I think it is a different from of Vit C. It's been ages since I tried that one.

I love your channel and all your insight. I am in love with the Growth serum, its fabulous!!!! Having said that, I still have not found the Dermelect Self-Esteem Beauty Sleep Serum to do anything. No glow, no firmness, nothing. I've been using it for 2 weeks and will continue to test it. Now I'm 60 and really have lines and sagging so it may take longer. I have used the TNS Growth serum for 6 weeks, but I did see changes immediately! all I can say is my one serum is the Growth Serum.
Does the Beauty Sleep serum have a strong smell? I'm reading quite a few reviews about the strong, lingering fragrance? Thank you!
@@josie4peace it does have an unusual scent, but I wouldn't call it a smell. It just doesn't seem to do anything. Every other serum I try at least leaves a glow or softer skin.
Maybe you aren't seeing results because it's hard to perfect perfection! 🤗 But I agree TNS is AMAZING! When I 1st saw my results, I couldn't stop looking in the mirror. haha! I'm NEVER without it.

Hi Sheri, I’ve been a sub for awhile and always appreciate the products you mention. I’m about to place my order on the Dermelect site, but I was hoping you could tell me the order I would apply the product in. I’m ordering the Anti aging resilient wrinkle fighting set, Get lifted instant face lift, The Self esteem beauty sleep serum. I’m also getting the hand lotion and I get a free lip mask melt. Could you recommend the order I should apply the products. I got the set because the description was clear that I start with one then the other but when would I apply the instant face lift and the serum, or would the serum go before the set?
HI Melissa, I haven't tried their other products yet. I just bought some more things to try but I left on vacation before they arrived. But I had to look these up to see what they are. I'm not 100% sure but I would use the instant face lift only on clean skin from the looks of what it does. And the wrinkle fighting set looks like something you could use over top of the self esteem serum. Let me know how those work out and if you like them, I will buy those as well. They sound fantastic!

Yup! Lol, you talked me into it. I don't really use vitamin c. I know I should, but ... I don't know. I just can't find anything I like. I found a couple of decent vitamin c serums, but I forget to use them. So, I'm thinking I might actually use this and get some c that way.☺️ I got the neck cream too, since I've not found one i like yet. So ok, you said just the serum and a moisturizer in top? Yes that moisturizer will be just fine. I usually just use my Vanicream moisturizer. It's cheaper than Ole Henrikson too. Yes I bring the serum down my neck and chest and put their neck cream or my City Beauty Invisicrepe over top. 🤗

It's the best! I realized my skin wasn't irritated when I used it more often so I decided to add it in my daytime routine as well and it works fabulous. Of course, if I ever have irritation, etc, I would cut back but it's gentle enough on my skin to be able to use it a little more often than I expected. Now if my face falls off by next week, I'll report back 🤪

Thanks for the recommendation, I received the cream and serum and have been using it along with my other actives. Sheri, I heard you should only exfoliate with these acids 1 or twice a week otherwise it can cause an unbalance of the skin and cause reactions. How often do you use it?
I usually use it 2-3 times a week. But you are correct, depends on the product sand your skin. Some exfoliants I can only use once a week.

Depends on the product and your skin type. Some exfoliants can really only be used once a week. This is gentle enough but potent.🤗

Hi Gina, I've only tried their neck cream which I LOVE so so much! I also tried their nail kit. I like that too but it's not my absolute favorite nail product. It's nice but I have others I like better. I recently bought a bunch more from the brand and I think I bought this eye product too but I haven't been back to the USA yet to get the package. I'll be back end of the month and then I'll start testing products. Cant wait. It's gonna feel like Christmas opening everything LOL . So I'll report back once I have updates. 🤗

I am tempted but this has so many ingredients that other products have minus a growth factor.. Not sure I can use this at night then put my retinol cream on later. Would replace a glycolic serum in someone's regimen for sure.

I am 44 with dry skin and acne scars.
I've noticed my skin really loves ceramides and stays hydrated during the day.
I have been loving the Dr Jart ceramide line.
I see other brands like It Cosmetics and Pacifica have a ceramide line too.

I have purchased it but my only problem is that using it at night, I don’t feel like I have enough nights once I’ve alternated with my Retinoid. Maybe I will try in the morning like you suggested.
Just make sure you use a really good SPF and reapply often. But I have been ok using it in the a.m every now and again. 🤗
This serum sounds great. I’d love to try it but need advise on how to incorporate it into my regimen. I use tretinoin in the pm. Should I use the serum before or after the retin A? OR perhaps maybe that’s a bit much and should 5:19 alternate nights with the tret and serum? Thanks
Hi there! I would not use it on the same day that you use retinols or retin-a. Definitely on alternating nights or just a couple nights a week. 🤗

What is the best sunscreen you like?
When would you use this serum if you already use a stem factor and Osmosis Renew? I guess use on a night I skip Osmosis Renew and the stem factor? I would love to try it.
2 nights a week. I keep my routine very simple with this...cleanse, dermelect self Esteem serum then moisturize. But I use my growth factor and vit a most other days and nights.

I love Catalyst too! I literally JUST used it like 5 minutes ago on my eyelids. I don't think I'd use Dermelect with Catalyst. (unless you just put Catalyst on your eyelids only like I just did). I'd just use Dermelect on clean skin as the exfoliator and then use a moisturizer and call it a night. Dermelect has L-ascorbic in it already but it's more of an exfoliator. Only use it 2 or 3 nights a week. Hope you love it too 💜

Does the Dermelect serum have a strong/odd smell? It’s not a fragrance because it smells more like chemicals and something sweet. I don’t think it will stop me from using it but I want to be sure I didn’t get a bad one before I use it again.

I don’t really smell it after I put it on (I’ve only used it twice) but when I first opened the bottle, it smelled like a mix between nail polish remover and paint thinner mixed with something woodsy. I’ve never smelled anything like it!
@The Pug Lady no mine doesn't. It should be clear also. Lots of people who got theirs from Allure, Birchbox, Ebay etc complained of the same scent issue and they said their serum had a brown color. I'm thinking Allure is just sending out older, oxidized product??? Probably still works but not as well.

No don't continue. You most likely already have sensitive skin. Your skin isn't ready for this type of exfoliation. Stop using immediately. Heal your skin barrier 1st. Once you have a healthy skin barrier again then you can patch test but you may just be too sensitive for Glycolic, Salicylic and/or Ascorbic. I once applied it after shaving with a razor and thought my skin was going to fall off. 🤣😳😫🤪

No I don't. I've tried many but I am lazy and don't stick with them. It's like exercise...once you stop the results go away.
My go to moisturizer is my Vanicream Daily Face Moisturizer (in the squeeze tube, not the tub) amazing ingredients and super affordable at the drugstore 🤗
Can the Self-Esteem Beauty Sleep Serum be used with Tretinoin?
I don't think the amber color affects the efficacy because that was how my first bottle was and it worked so well I ordered another. My new bottle serum is clear however and has a much different smell. The first bottle very much reminded me of the color of the Osmosis Catalyst AC-11. Same color almost. The Osmosis product is supose to be that color and it doesn't hurt the efficacy? There didn't seem to be a shelf life date on the bottles of Der Mer Lect so I am thinking the color didn't matter?
Oh that's good to know. You're right, Catalyst is purposely that color and it's fantastic so that makes sense. I'm going to email the company and ask them because it looks like a lot of people are saying that's what theirs looked liked and I think a ton got it from a beauty box subscription at Allure vs directly from Dermelect. So I saw another video this morning and now this one. I am unsubscribing from everyone but you. 3 weeks ago I went to nothing but vanicream cleanser and moisture to heal my sensitive red and hot Rosacea face skin . Amazing but have a ways to go and I am 59. I want simple so will this serum replace or be better than trying retin or vitamin c since I should only add 1 active at a time? What about eye area? I am also on the hunt for a sunscreen that doesn’t irritate my face.

So now If I can find a cc cream that does not irritate my skin. I have been using Osmosis CC for 11 years and you can not get it right now for what ever reason so I am concerned about the ingredients if they ever do make it again.

I am considering ordering the duo. How long does this bottle last?
I have a little less than half a bottle left and I've had mine a little over 2 months. 5 drops is really all that's needed. But it has VIt C in it so I don't think it would last much after 6 months if it isn't used up because it can oxidize after a lengthy amount of time. You could probably just keep it in the fridge in the box still so it stays cool and dark and then it should last even longer. I also use it on my neck and chest and backs of hands. 🤗
