Thanks for a great video. I received the serum in a subscription box. Wasn’t sure what it was. Realized it was an exfoliant. Never used an exfoliant before. I like it. Just make sure you apply to completely dried skin (I wait about 10 min) to finish skincare routine. Ive noticed a difference that my pores are smaller and face a bit radiant in the morning.

I was in Walgreens the other day and annoyed that so many brands were $20 - $40 for creams and serums. Especially Olay, makes no sense. But then again Walgreens does have higher prices than some drugsores. Let me know how it works for ya. Don't forget to also use on the backs of your hands. Results weren't overnight on my hands but after a couple weeks I couldn't believe how great they looked. Just wear SPF or nothing will work. 🤗

Actually the Amazon seller for this is the actual brand selling it. So it wouldn't be fake. But here is how you can avoid getting fake stuff on Amazon. When you see "Professional Skincare" or "Luxury Beauty" that is almost ALWAYS sold via the actual brand. You can tell by looking at who its sold by. Even if it isn't professional or luxury category, just look at the 'sold by' and who owns that store and if it says sold by say "bob's shop" then I would never buy it. Hope that helps. I buy a ton of skincare on Amazon but only from the actual brand who is selling it, not some random seller. SO for example, if you buy City Beauty or City Lips on Amazon, they also now have their own Amazon store but before they started selling on Amazon last year, you would randomly see a few City Lips on various random Amazon stores and those could have been fakes OR could even be old product. Maybe I will share all this in a video to help people know what's real and what's fake on Amazon. 🤗

Yes sounds like they weren't super fresh. I'd send them back to where you got them and ask for a new one. It should be clear. If it's dark. That means the Vit C in it probably oxidized. It's not harmful to use but it won't be as effective. 🤗
I’ve been using this for a while I got it in a box, Boxy maybe I bought 4 bottles it was 5 bucks thru the boxy or Ipsy. It does make it feel smooth I like to derm roller with it. And make sure I rub in a circular motion till all im the face!
Hi Sheri! I’ve been attempting to use the Catalyst ac-11 just on my eyelids and am curious if you use a mineral mist to rub it in? Or do you forgo the mist? I’m finding it a bit tricky to rub in the mist and not get it in my eyes 😂
I often mix a bit of mist with Catalyst so it spreads and doesn't leave a brown tint but at night I don't care if it looks crazy so usually I just put it on directly to my eyelids and then top with an eye cream. The eye cream helps it to spread better. 🤗

This is an exfoliating serum. Just make sure you don't use it too often. It's tempting though. Oh bummer about not getting the discount. It better be magical for you then to make up for it LOL
I would probably ask your Dermatologist to be safe since I'm assuming that's who prescribed the Hydroquinone to you. I'd hate to give advice if your Dermatologist wanted you to use it a specific way.....BUT if it were my skin, yes I would still layer them and use the Self Esteem serum 1st then the Hydroquinone cream ober top..no more than 2-3 nights a week for the serum. Of course I'm not the expert so please check with your Dr to be safe 💜
I use just about everything I use on my face on my neck. But I have to be cautious since some things can be irritating. But yes TNS is great on the neck as well as Invisicrepe. But I haven't been using those on my neck for maybe a month or so because I wanted to test this serum and neck cream only. 🤗
Depends on how sensitive your skin is. If it's super sensitive probably no, but if you have a healthy skin barrier then most likely yes. Of course I'd always check with your Dr 1st to be safe. 💜

I just found this video. Sounds interesting especially the neck cream, however, my neck is sooo sensitive and I have rocea on my face. These sound pretty potent. I went on the sight and it doesn't have any warnings. Do you think it would be too agressive for my skin?
Hi there if you have rosacea I most definitely would not use an acid like this on your face. Stick with gentle skincare and definitely check with your Dr to see what's best for you. Avene has some great fragrance free products for rosacea and Sente also has fabulous products. 💜
I'd just start with once every 10 days, then work up to maybe 2 nights a week as tolerated and of course always best to ask her Dermatologist what's best for her skin type. Hope she loves it too. 💜
I still LOVE my City Beauty Invisicrepe on my neck for firming things up. I've never liked the exfoliating serum from City Beauty. It made me have hives LOL for real 🔥😳🤪

I ordered the combo from the previous video, now I 'm concerned, because I always use a wash cloth with my double cleanse, to make sure and get all the eye makeup off. I used to use the Clinique take your makeup off balm, or whatever it's called, but it always clogged up my sink, so I've stopped using it, now it's Cerave or Cetaphil gentle face cleanser. I've gotten some good recommendations from you in the past, so I trust what you recommend. I guess I'll just cleanse without a face cloth whenever I use this product. It's probably ok if you use a washcloth very gently. If it burns the way it did on my husband, you'll know you rubbed too hard. Just be super gentle with it and you're good to go. I had heard that about some cleansing balms. Maybe try an oil. DHC Deep Cleansing Oil is my all time favorite for my 1st cleanse. Rinses clean and you won't even need a wash cloth. 🤗
I normally don't...I usually prefer lactic or mandelic but this one is fantastic on me. I think because it's a blend and not as harsh and irritating as many other glycolic products on the market. But I know what you mean, I normally run from glycolic serums 🤪
P.M. is preferred. Never in combo with retinol. I use on opposite nights. But I sometimes use during the day and make sure I use a good SPF and reapply. 💜
This has me concerned. 2 types of salicylic ? I am dry ND not acne prone at all Also there are no percentages of the actives and indont buy anything that I can't find percentages for. If anyone has confirmed it I would love to know. I have a pretty phenomenal arsenal of actives from great brands such as Maelove Dermalure Stratia and some K brands. Happy New year and best in 2023
Maybe reach out to the company and see if they can share the %'s. % doesn't really matter to me personally. More % doesn't mean better and less % doesn't mean less effective. I just go off my results when I test something. But perhaps they have that info somewhere on their site. There is only 1 salicylic. Glycolic and L ascorbic are the other 2 main ingredients and then soothing, calming and hydrating ingredients. But I still always use a moisturizer over top when I use this. If you find out that info, please share just in case others read comments and are interested as well. 🤗
Just on nights I want to exfoliate. So usually 2 -3 nights a week, depending on what my skin needs. The 1s time I started it though I used it 3 nights in a row then waited about 4 nights before I used it again. But I use the neck cream every night even if I don't use the serum.
Hi friend. Denatured alcohol is not always a bad thing. It can be bad in some products but it also helps with better penetration of the ingredients. Many Dermatologists recommend some serums that have denat alcohol in them but it really depends on the formulation and of course your skin type. Some are not too good but this one is fantastic IMO. I wouldn't use something like this daily though and if you have super sensitive skin, it also may not be that great. But I'd always check with your Dermatologist to see what's best for your skin before trying something like this. 🤗

I'm curious, do you find it has a strange scent? Or is mine rancid?? I got mine from boxycharm, and I find the smell really lingers as well. It's hard to describe the scent. And is it supposed to be a darkush amber color,?
No they must have sent you an old product. It's best to get it direct from the company. It should be clear and the scent on mine is barely noticeable, maybe slightly medicinal but fades fast. Since it doesn't have added fragrance its just the scent of the actual ingredients. People who are getting theirs in Boxyxharm and Ipsy said theirs stinks like a weird maple syrup and it's brown. But sounds like it's old and oxidized. It may still work but not as well as a fresh bottle. 🤗

I 1st ordered on Amazon so it only took like 2 days to receive it via Amazon Prime. Then I placed an order directly via Dermelect and it took about 5 or 6 days to ship. They should send you an email when it ships. But I'm thinking the holiday slowed things down because I ordered some stuff from a couple other companies online and one company took 2 weeks before it even shipped. Hi Susan. No I don't know. Maybe if you email the company they can tell you but I didnt see it anywhere on their website. Salicylic is the 5th ingredient so not sure if it"s 2% like many salicylic acid serums. But I'm thinking maybe around .5%- 1% since it's a blend. But I really don't know to be quite honest. 🤗
Where did you buy it? It is supposed to be clear and no scent. If you buy it direct from Dermelect, it always arrives fresh. People are buying it from other stores and it must be sitting on their shelves too long and getting oxidized and stinky. I would send it back and order directly from the manufacturer.💗 p.s. I have asked Dermelect about this in the past but they did say it's still safe to use. But I don't think I'd find it to be a pleasant experience using stinky product LOL.

Actually the Amazon seller for this is the actual brand selling it. So it wouldn't be fake. But here is how you can avoid getting fake stuff on Amazon. When you see "Professional Skincare" or "Luxury Beauty" that is almost ALWAYS sold via the actual brand. You can tell by looking at who its sold by. Even if it isn't professional or luxury category, just look at the 'sold by' and who owns that store and if it says sold by say "bob's shop" then I would never buy it. Hope that helps. I buy a ton of skincare on Amazon but only from the actual brand who is selling it, not some random seller. SO for example, if you buy City Beauty or City Lips on Amazon, they also now have their own Amazon store but before they started selling on Amazon last year, you would randomly see a few City Lips on various random Amazon stores and those could have been fakes OR could even be old product. Maybe I will share all this in a video to help people know what's real and what's fake on Amazon. 🤗

Hi Sheri love your content and genuine approach to beauty!! I have this serum and love it. This is my second bottle. Both mine have been maple syrup colored as well as smell like maple. Wondering if my bottles were old when I received due to the coloring, consistency and smell. Any thoughts??
Yes sounds like they weren't super fresh. I'd send them back to where you got them and ask for a new one. It should be clear. If it's dark. That means the Vit C in it probably oxidized. It's not harmful to use but it won't be as effective. 🤗

I’ve been using this for a while I got it in a box, Boxy maybe I bought 4 bottles it was 5 bucks thru the boxy or Ipsy. It does make it feel smooth I like to derm roller with it. And make sure I rub in a circular motion till all im the face!

Hi Sheri! I’ve been attempting to use the Catalyst ac-11 just on my eyelids and am curious if you use a mineral mist to rub it in? Or do you forgo the mist? I’m finding it a bit tricky to rub in the mist and not get it in my eyes 😂
I often mix a bit of mist with Catalyst so it spreads and doesn't leave a brown tint but at night I don't care if it looks crazy so usually I just put it on directly to my eyelids and then top with an eye cream. The eye cream helps it to spread better. 🤗

I would probably ask your Dermatologist to be safe since I'm assuming that's who prescribed the Hydroquinone to you. I'd hate to give advice if your Dermatologist wanted you to use it a specific way.....BUT if it were my skin, yes I would still layer them and use the Self Esteem serum 1st then the Hydroquinone cream ober top..no more than 2-3 nights a week for the serum. Of course I'm not the expert so please check with your Dr to be safe 💜
If you have used glycolic acid in the past… strong glycolic WILL Tingle or some people call it burn a little. That’s how I know it’s strong

I use just about everything I use on my face on my neck. But I have to be cautious since some things can be irritating. But yes TNS is great on the neck as well as Invisicrepe. But I haven't been using those on my neck for maybe a month or so because I wanted to test this serum and neck cream only. 🤗

Depends on how sensitive your skin is. If it's super sensitive probably no, but if you have a healthy skin barrier then most likely yes. Of course I'd always check with your Dr 1st to be safe. 💜

I just found this video. Sounds interesting especially the neck cream, however, my neck is sooo sensitive and I have rocea on my face. These sound pretty potent. I went on the sight and it doesn't have any warnings. Do you think it would be too agressive for my skin?
Hi there if you have rosacea I most definitely would not use an acid like this on your face. Stick with gentle skincare and definitely check with your Dr to see what's best for you. Avene has some great fragrance free products for rosacea and Sente also has fabulous products. 💜

I'd just start with once every 10 days, then work up to maybe 2 nights a week as tolerated and of course always best to ask her Dermatologist what's best for her skin type. Hope she loves it too. 💜

I still LOVE my City Beauty Invisicrepe on my neck for firming things up. I've never liked the exfoliating serum from City Beauty. It made me have hives LOL for real 🔥😳🤪

I ordered the combo from the previous video, now I 'm concerned, because I always use a wash cloth with my double cleanse, to make sure and get all the eye makeup off. I used to use the Clinique take your makeup off balm, or whatever it's called, but it always clogged up my sink, so I've stopped using it, now it's Cerave or Cetaphil gentle face cleanser. I've gotten some good recommendations from you in the past, so I trust what you recommend. I guess I'll just cleanse without a face cloth whenever I use this product.

It's probably ok if you use a washcloth very gently. If it burns the way it did on my husband, you'll know you rubbed too hard. Just be super gentle with it and you're good to go. I had heard that about some cleansing balms. Maybe try an oil. DHC Deep Cleansing Oil is my all time favorite for my 1st cleanse. Rinses clean and you won't even need a wash cloth. 🤗

I normally don't...I usually prefer lactic or mandelic but this one is fantastic on me. I think because it's a blend and not as harsh and irritating as many other glycolic products on the market. But I know what you mean, I normally run from glycolic serums 🤪

Also there are no percentages of the actives and indont buy anything that I can't find percentages for. If anyone has confirmed it I would love to know. I have a pretty phenomenal arsenal of actives from great brands such as Maelove Dermalure Stratia and some K brands.

Maybe reach out to the company and see if they can share the %'s. % doesn't really matter to me personally. More % doesn't mean better and less % doesn't mean less effective. I just go off my results when I test something. But perhaps they have that info somewhere on their site. There is only 1 salicylic. Glycolic and L ascorbic are the other 2 main ingredients and then soothing, calming and hydrating ingredients. But I still always use a moisturizer over top when I use this. If you find out that info, please share just in case others read comments and are interested as well. 🤗

Just on nights I want to exfoliate. So usually 2 -3 nights a week, depending on what my skin needs. The 1s time I started it though I used it 3 nights in a row then waited about 4 nights before I used it again. But I use the neck cream every night even if I don't use the serum.

Sheri, were you aware that the sleeping oil contains Denatured alcohol, which is not a good alcohol that drys out the skin & can age you?
Hi friend. Denatured alcohol is not always a bad thing. It can be bad in some products but it also helps with better penetration of the ingredients. Many Dermatologists recommend some serums that have denat alcohol in them but it really depends on the formulation and of course your skin type. Some are not too good but this one is fantastic IMO. I wouldn't use something like this daily though and if you have super sensitive skin, it also may not be that great. But I'd always check with your Dermatologist to see what's best for your skin before trying something like this. 🤗

I'm curious, do you find it has a strange scent? Or is mine rancid?? I got mine from boxycharm, and I find the smell really lingers as well. It's hard to describe the scent. And is it supposed to be a darkush amber color,?
No they must have sent you an old product. It's best to get it direct from the company. It should be clear and the scent on mine is barely noticeable, maybe slightly medicinal but fades fast. Since it doesn't have added fragrance its just the scent of the actual ingredients. People who are getting theirs in Boxyxharm and Ipsy said theirs stinks like a weird maple syrup and it's brown. But sounds like it's old and oxidized. It may still work but not as well as a fresh bottle. 🤗

I don't use it on my face, just my neck and chest but their website does say it can be used on the face and is supposed to be good on the jowl area. 💗

I 1st ordered on Amazon so it only took like 2 days to receive it via Amazon Prime. Then I placed an order directly via Dermelect and it took about 5 or 6 days to ship. They should send you an email when it ships. But I'm thinking the holiday slowed things down because I ordered some stuff from a couple other companies online and one company took 2 weeks before it even shipped. Have you heard of Ardell makeup? Omgoodness, I was in Sally’s and they had a clearance on Ardell makeup. I bought a beautiful 15 pan neutral palette. Got home and they are so very smooth, no fall out. Fell in love so went back and got the shimmer pallet of soft colors. Most of my moisturizers have squalane in them. It's an ingredient I enjoy especially because it doesn't clog pores. 🤗

Hi Susan. No I don't know. Maybe if you email the company they can tell you but I didnt see it anywhere on their website. Salicylic is the 5th ingredient so not sure if it"s 2% like many salicylic acid serums. But I'm thinking maybe around .5%- 1% since it's a blend. But I really don't know to be quite honest. 🤗

Where did you buy it? It is supposed to be clear and no scent. If you buy it direct from Dermelect, it always arrives fresh. People are buying it from other stores and it must be sitting on their shelves too long and getting oxidized and stinky. I would send it back and order directly from the manufacturer.💗 p.s. I have asked Dermelect about this in the past but they did say it's still safe to use. But I don't think I'd find it to be a pleasant experience using stinky product LOL.
