    Thank you found this video helpful and I immediately made some beautiful sounds. I love the intuitive interface of the DS which is also not overly cluttered. Appreciate your clear and concise teaching 🎵🙂

    Awesome young guy! I get my 61 tomorrow and it's going on my lap on the lazy boy until I figure all this out. All this available type layering and splitting is super interesting. I believe this board is for the dreamer :) - so many opportunities to customize. Fun lies ahead. I also have a Korg PA4X live and this might work well with it. I love my Yamaha P-125 piano, best keybed and piano sound for so little investment, IMO.

    Great video on the Juno DS. Could you do a video where you go into performance mode and show how you change the chorus/reverb parameters. I have looked into these and am not sure whether you need to also change the effect being used.

    Thanks Exalter, that helps me a lot. I always play bass guitar Split on the left on my current keyboard, and use the same tone (patch) that pretty much matches my bass guitar, so I can swap back and forth almost unnoticeably. I use it on almost all my registers (Favorites). Everything else goes on the right of the Split.
    On one song I need a horn section for accent fills, on the right, and I have a trombone in another Layer that I can add in for a big build section. It sounds like on the Juno, I'd be better off putting the bass on the left as described, NOT in Split mode, on Part 1, and I can tweak it on that slider if needed. Then I can put the horns in Part 3, set to the right. And put the trombone on Part 2 so I can just bring up and down on the slider when I need it. And that also might let me back the horns with a little strings in 4, which I can't do on my Casio CTK-7200 that this is replacing. It only has one layer. Now I'll have 14!
    That brings to mind many possibilities! Wonderful! Thanks again! Now I just wish it would get here, it's due in Friday.

    Thank you so much for this. I've been trying to find a keyboard that can have multiple layers on different splits. I tried reading into manuals but they weren't great. I think I'll be getting a Juno!

    I have a MIDI Pacer and I'd like to set a SPLIT tone in the JUNO-DS and press a footswitch of the pedalboard to play using that tone. Could you do a tutorial on that? It would be amazing for live performances

  • @britesynth
    @britesynth 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    One question, in all modes is the sound or note sustained until released (sustain pedal) even after switching to anothe patch or program? Very important for live playing

  • @mirkomontaldo

    Hello is it possible to assign a drum track to one of the 16 parts? Or is Rhythm Pattern available when you play a performance? I mean defining a 16 layers in a performance and then play that while having a Rhythm Pattern in background out of the Performance. I know that DUAL and SPLIT mode allow the Rhythm Pattern to play along. Don't know about Performance Mode. Thanks

    How can we use external midi keyboard to use juno sound ? ( can’t find a video how to fix it in the settings) hopefully you ve a answer.

    • @pointer2002
      @pointer2002 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You'll have to use perform mode .
      Select dual for choosing the 2 sounds you need.
      Use the arrow to go to your first sound (midi channel 1).
      Unselect dual (important if you want separate sounds)
      Set your external keyboard out to midi channel 2 .
      That's it.
      (first sound is on channel 1 , second is on channel 2 nativelly)

    Does it have some good drums patterns or you have to create all of them from scratch??? I mean; intros, fills and endings as a base, along w/ the bass for all the other instrument effects and so, you can create a song???
    Thanks a lot...

    Thanks so much for this!! Do you know if you can take a layered setting and save it as its own patch? For example, I have two bass sounds layered to get the sound I wanted and I was wondering if I could save that in my patch bank

    • @Exalter
      @Exalter  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes! But it's saved to a different bank, so you can save the layered sounds!

    Help! I saved a performance (not patch) to favorites, now all my performance selections sound the same as I scroll through them. It sounds like they're overlayed with my saved sound. Not sure what's going on.

    I'm new to this keyboard, is there a way to get some patches from the Roland JX8P or JX3P to play in this Juno? What I looking for are the older analog Poly brass/strings that I loved from those keyboards. Thanks

    • @Exalter
      @Exalter  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't think it is possible to load patches from the JX8P, but there are lots of expansion sounds you can download for the Juno DS, and I am sure some of the sounds are in those expansions!

    Hello! Is there a way to assign more than 2 patche volumes to the faders? Like a piano on the first, pad on second, strings on 3rd, etc.

    • @nathanwahl9224
      @nathanwahl9224 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think the first two sliders are dedicated to the mic and effects. But you should be able to assign the 4 knobs selected to the third row to control another 4 parts, like 3-6.

    why is my performance edit not working? when i go to menu then to edit, Performance edit doesnt seem to be selectable, in fact only Patch and Effects edit seems to be accesible, the rest are blacked out. Can you help me fix this? I own a Juno DS 61 key black edition keyboard.
