    we need layer effects like gaussian blur, motion blur, glow, outline, inner shadow, outer shadow, color overlay, gradient overlay

    Ah this makes more sense when you have fill off , it was like what is that for but had fill on so looked a bit weird when using it with irregular shapes.

    Thinking, like spiraling eyes that shift color and line size to the rhythm

    Thanks for building this app! Are there plans to refine the path tool set? A dedicated node tool would be nice.

    • @toonsquidart
      @toonsquidart  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thanks for the suggestion! Beyond the ability to modify a curve by dragging it directly instead of dragging the Bézier handles and the ability to select and move multiple control points at once, is there anything else you are thinking of for which you would like to see a node tool?

    • @andiroo42
      @andiroo42 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@toonsquidart Yes, using a touch event to modify the handle type as they are being created would be nice. For those who want use the path tool for line work, it currently does not allow you to deselect a segment and create a new path segment. A deselect function would also be helpful or allow clicking with the arrow tool in a blank space to deselect a path.
      properties > path style might benefit from being first in the list, some of its options with only 3 choices could be buttons, like stroke alignment and cap & join styles. Also collapsible panels.
      In path mode, the shapes could be moved to a shape tool, with a secondary click showing the extra shapes. I would expect “freehand” to behave like the brush tool in Adobe Illustrator, to freely draw like a raster brush, and a precision/path mode to be the way freehand currently works. Switch between freehand or precision mode could go in the options int the upper right, but a vector brush tool might make more sense.

      @andiroo42 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@toonsquidart just saw that you do have a vector brush mode in the brush tool, but strokes don’t seem to be individually editable. Making it it’s own brush with editable paths would be excellent.

    love this app! but is there anyway to do animation cycles? if not, definitely one of my suggestions!

    • @CodeaDeveloper
      @CodeaDeveloper 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, if you make convert the animation to a symbol you can extend it and it will repeat.

    Hi, I love ToonSquid, great app. Any plans for skeletal animation system?

    • @toonsquidart
      @toonsquidart  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Thanks! Yes, I would like to add a powerful bone system at some point in the future but it's a very big feature so it's not going to happen soon. Until then you can use the transform hierarchy feature for some basic cut-out-style rigging. There will be another one of these short videos in a few days covering the transform hierarchy.

    • @JalilOzLara
      @JalilOzLara 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@toonsquidart Great, thanks for your answer. I understand this would an awesome mayor feature meanwhile I will use transform hierarchy. Thanks again 👍🏼
