Fair play for showing how friendly the majority of people in Mosul are despite how tough it’s been for them. To do all this by yourself as well. You have massive balls my friend. Respect

You actually missed many interesting places in Mosul such as Al Ghabat, which is very nice to visit at night, Al Zuhour market and you should've also visited Al Nabi Yonus market. However, I hope that you enjoyed visiting this beautiful city. Welcome to Iraq 🇮🇶❤️🇫🇷

I am an Asian by Birth and live in west but I rarely see people even Smile unless they want to sell something. Keep real and keep Humble.
Just found this channel and have been binge watching your videos. Stay as you are and thank you for showing what western media wont. Love from Indonesia ❤
You are visiting popular and traditional places. There are very beautiful places in Mosul, such as the waterfalls and the Zohour neighborhood, and the best part of what is attributed to me is Al Ghubat is a beautiful and touristic area at night. The shops remain open at night.
Hello👋 The Tigris is the vital vein of this land💙 The wooden furniture market and fish market was so interesting.🥰 I wish watery rivers and lush and green land. 🇨🇵💙🇮🇶 Thanks a lot for sharing your experience.💙🙏🏻💙
I understand your feeling about most of the people in Mosul, with great regret, because of the siege that took place for four years by ISIS forces . In some provinces and Mosul in particular, tourists like you did not come because of the badness of what happened and the badness of what was circulated
of all your adventures so far, i think your portrayal of mosul has been the best... fantastic work yves, i wish i could visit there someday but i cannot but really appreciate you making these videos makes me seem like i am there myself... god bless you and your travels
At 15:30 the guy showed you those teens sitting on the ground he was saying they’re orphans , I guess He thought you were a reporter or something but he also wanted you to come back in an hour to film
Not even two minutes in and I can already tell you’re a good skin. Keep doing what you’re doing bud! I’d love to get a camera and go to these kind of places myself.
Nice that you are exploring Islamic cultures and Iraq is known for its generosity and morals. Iraq is a very beautiful country and your channel is very beautiful. I hope to increase your beautiful content.
Nice videos Yves .. there are many forms to say how are u , for ex: (shloonak) means how r u / (keefak) means how r u doing / (Keef Halak) means how is everything with u … and so on :)
15:33 The old man used to tell you, come to this place at three in the afternoon or at two in the afternoon so that you can photograph the people who come to this place.
I think it's fantastic, visiting these countries, I even feel some envy, but I don't know if I would have that courage, we often have a wrong idea, continue to show the world that there is much more than just war in these countries, God bless you
Hi Eve, there is no need to worry about the army men, they are very nice And don't let anyone control you, keep up your beautiful content, good luck ❤️🇮🇶🇨🇵
Hello Eve Al-Jamil, I would like to tell you that you have enlightened Iraq and made you very happy, but we want you to promise that you will return to Iraq a second time and that you will visit my city Wasit and you will be my hospitality 🥺🖤🙆
Wow..This is amazing. I am from Iraq and I did not know these places and markets in mousl..Thank you for conveying the beautiful side of my country..Keep on providing this content. We support you♥️🙏
Do not be afraid of the army that photography is not a problem in the drowning country and that the army is nice, do not be afraid of anything. Thank you for being here in my country. Many treat you with welcome, but there is a large group that did not learn to study and enter schools because of the war. You are welcome among us
As a Mosuli, it is very entertaining to see how you go to the slums xD If you are still in Mosul you can always go to other areas which are better like al-Zuhoor and next to Mosul University
Despite the visible destruction caused by the war to end ISIS actions, with the victory of the coalition of the Iraqi, American and Kurdish Peshmerga military forces in 2017, it is also visible the recovery efforts of the city of Mosul, and the most beautiful of all is the friendly and receptive people. Nice video. And your natural way of simplicity of showing all things it's beautiful. Don't change it.
I was born and raised in Mosul. Great city with good people. Wish my country was never invaded and destroyed; it was a great country once upon a time. The man at 15:30 was actually asking you to return in 1 hour and half to film the market. Good observation in noticing the dialect of northern Iraq is different than that of Baghdad. Mosul has its own dialect as you mentioned; even saying how are you is different. It's pronounced SHLONAK when asking a male and SHLONKI when asking a female. Great videos Yves!
@@abdallahmohammed9618 Sure. They're interchangeable. I've also heard Shonak and Shonki. I've encountered all of these variations before but Shlonak and Shlonki are most commonly used in my neighborhood. Peace.
14:43 The old man says to you, "Let's film the market." He means to help, because he knows that you are filming, and when he pointed to the sitting man, he told you that he is poor (فقير ).
Amazing notice Yves! How could you notice and diffirentiate between the dialects of Iraq cities, because they are really different and even we have in Iraq specific expressions and words used in specific towns rather than the other places in Iraq 👍👍👍

Hello Kino, the bearded guy was telling you to come back at 2:30, he made a hand gesture meaning if you come back at that time, the bird market will be busy…
The people seem friendly but sadly if you don't speak their language it can get a bit uncomfortable or scary for some as you don't know what they are saying. I think a local guide would be very helpful in this case 😊
Mosul has gone through a lot of difficulties, so they seem very tired, even their cities are tired, so do not be upset when they told you to photograph something, this indicates the joy of the presence of a tourist in their area, especially since you are wandering in a popular area whose residents are buried in hard work all day, in this minute. 18:11 . This young man asks you to photograph these simple shops that make wooden rooms and tells you to pictures of people as well and talk to them (these people are old in those places and they have many stories, but unfortunately they do not speak English)
Don't afraid of the military soldiers they like to speak with Tourists they so kind and friendly ,next video started a conversion with one of them we supports u , you are welcome to iraq ♥️ p.s smile in your videos
