    Actually Newroz is Kurdish that is adapted by the pars (Persians) as they were under the Medes because the Median Royals and emperor were Kurdish,
    I know Persian try to explain it little differently. But fact is even the language and names of the Royals were all Kurdish names which can't be found in other tribes at the time like the pars( Persians) but I'd like to note the Pars were also part of the Medes the tribes of Pars affiliated with the Medes under their control, but ones Cyrus came to power who only came to power by marrying a Kurdish Medes Royal's daughter and from then on he established the "Persian Empire" which was a mix of both the Medes Kurds and pars which were considered very close at the time

    Hello Kino!
    Thank you for another entertaining video, especially when you are in my home country.
    However I have to clearify some information mentioned in the video.
    The ancestors of the kurds the Medes, and the iranians ancestors the Persians were different people.
    One lived in Persia and the other in Media, and for a long time Persia was a vassal state in the Median empire.
    But in the eyes of the Greek, they couldn´t separate them from one another and just grouped them together.
    Also the Median empire became the backbone of the Persian empire after the grandson of the Median king, Cyrus the great, half mede and half persian took his fathers position and became the king of Persia. So time later going to war against his grandfather and winning the war. He then absorbed the Median empire into his domain, later defeating Babylon and the kingdom of Lydia. Leading to the formation of the Persian empire.
    Further details regarding the early history of the medes and persia for those that want to learn about our history :)

    Hi Yves Love your programs. , Qazwan or dasbeh are used primarily for meditating and relaxing effect.
    Kurdish New Year has nothing to do with the Persian people. The Kurds' calendar goes back to the first Medes kings (Deiokes), but the Persians are not descendants of the Medes, and yes we have common features of the language with the Persians but we are culturally and peoples far away from the Persians, it emerges easily in our music and dances. But unfortunately in Europe everything that comes from today's Iran and Iraq you call Persian, but that is not the facts. The Persian Empire only existed from the Akamenide dynasty beginning with Cyrus and ending with Darius III (Alexander the Great ended his empire) (525-330BC). After this, there has been no Persian Empire in Iran. The Persians are more selective with Afghans, Pakistanis / India. Kurds an Persian is as related as a German and a French man. I have nothing against the Persians but facts must come to light and all cultures are entitled to facts and respect for their greatness and history.

    Hello, great content! I really enjoy your videos.
    The Kurds started their calendar after they defeated and ended the mighty Assyrian empire in 614 BC, who were like ISIS of ancient times.
    Kurds at that time had the Medean empire that stretched from todays central Turkey to Afghanistan. Kurds lit fire on top of mountains signaling victory and end to the tyranny of Assyrians. All nations celebrate today were a part of the Kurdish Medes empire. Newruz means Newday in Kurdish.

    • @SRAriwan
      @SRAriwan 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@KinoYves No it is not to justify anything! It is basically from the historical scripts of the Assyrian kings which they wrote on bricks. For thousands of years, they keep attacking and looting, massacring, raping and whatever war crime you can imagine to the people of the Middle East especially various confederations of Kurdish people in Kurdistan. Finally, during the Median confederation, Medes and Babylonians became allies to eliminate the savage and terror era of the Assyrian empire.
      That is great the historical evidence for the Assyrian era is still here, for example, Sargon II clearly explained what Assyrians had done to anyone they were attacking or capturing.

    • @ibrahimk8271
      @ibrahimk8271 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sarge_4412 it is not stupid at all. it is kind of analogy of kawa the blacksmith legend. kawa was forced to gave 2 children to tyranic ruler dahak everyday. dahak was feeding 2 snakes coming out from his back wth these children.but kawa chose to trick dahak and gave to him a child and a sheep, and other child escaped to mountains. when the time come he raised the flag "derafs kaviani " and order to that full-grown army from mountains marched to city. they ended tyranical rule of dahhak and chained him in demavend mountain. kurds are children of those survivors. so some says this legend narrate assyrian-mede war. neo-assyrian empire was stronger than anyone before. they ruled with cruelty and praised with it. only mountain clans was resisting them but they couldn't defeat assyrians. at last their luck turned with chaldean rebellion. chaldea rebelled against assyrians and medes came for help. mede- chaeldean- schytian and egyptian coalition defeated assyrians. they destroyed all assyrian region. even some say north mesopotamia became arid because this war due burning all things. it was really important even mentoined in bible because assyrian cruelty to reach jews.

    Erbil is the ancient Assyrian city of Arabella. The Citidal is the remains of the old city. The city would just be an outdoor shopping center without the ancient Citidal.

      Northern Iraq is called Kurdistan Regional Government. It's an autonomous region within Iraq, so no need to panic. Besides, your name is Turkish, what does the situation in Iraq matters to you?
