You got loads of cracking photos there, so moody and typical Scottish weather. Enjoyable video once again Paul, you just keep pulling these gems out of the bag, nice one😁👍
I didn't think that the video was a shambles, I enjoyed it. It's a shame that the water wasn't higher round the lone tree. Some absolutely brilliant image's. Look forward to seeing your next one.
I bought this filter set and received them today so looking forward to trying them out. I bought the 72mm to fit all my Fuji lenses. Great vlog as always.
Mil - a - rocky tree, best photographed in the autumn when the sun is setting behind Glen Luss on the other side of the loch. The tree rarely has water around its roots, you'd have to have a particularly wet season to get some separation from the rocky beach. Nine times out of ten you'll come away disappointed. The string of rocks generally make for a better shot most of the time. 'It looks bleak here' ... that's Ayrshire for ya ! I shouldn't scoff, my Grandmother came from Ayr and my eldest daughter did her degree there but bleak it is, true Covenanter country. Pity you didn't get to the castle. It does make for an impressive shot in those conditions. Great coastal shots, lone boat out in the choppy sea always appeals to me; although we're going to disagree over the long exposures ... and the vignettes 😁
Wow, from the minute you hit Port Glasgow where you got the rainbow shots, I could pretty much guess where you were going. I've photographed that lighthouse, The Perch, on many occasions. There are quite a few photo opportunities on the Old Largs Road (where the burnt out car was), but you really need to spend time searching them out. My favourite is Garvoch Farm, a ruined old building on the shores of Loch Thom, just before you turn on to the The Old Largs Road. I stay only minutes from there. The next time you're in the area, I would suggest having a walk along The Cut, which is a walkway along the hills above Greenock. You get some stunning views. I thought you'd have taken some shots of Portencross Castle and the nearby pier. All the same though, I really enjoyed this one. Thanks for sharing.
Great images beautifull rainbow .
Many thanks
