Buy the rechargeable batteries. They are more up front but save you a lot in the long run. I haven't bought batteries for my candles in over 3 years. I just recharge!

i use to have an old trunk similar to the one in this vid that my great grandfather carried on his back from ireland to here in cape breton but sadly it deteriorated in my basement and was thrown out a few years ago.
The highchair is the same one my parents had for me. If I remember correctly it turned into a table and chair for a toddler. The jeanette bowl is so cool. Score

Never seen a glass bowl that had pheasants on it neat. I went to the consignment store today and got an antique parlor loveseat. It looks to be in pretty good condition. The other one they had they had written on the tag that it was reupholstered
WOW just found you, such gentle people with such an expressive exterior, were I younger I would have more, saggy baggy skin does not make for good tats, the milk glass bowls are from a long ago broken down stand mixer, my daughter adopted the ones I had from my mother

No baby high chairs, steer clear of those. Puppy beds and dog bowls. Hint, hint!

Hi there.... I was just watching election returns.... Had to turn it off due to anxiety. So much healthier watching you guys sailing around Saskatchewan. Those beer mugs are great for a bar or man-cave. And the milk glass mixing bowls so homey vintage. Got to tell me.... I hope.... How much was the antique trunk. Its a lot like the one I got from my neighbor. Same hardware on top. But I have 3 long slats on top going longwise as opposed to across. Did you see any labels in it. Im so curious about it...but look as I may, can't find one exactly like it on the web. Hope you two are doing well..... Can you eat inside restaurants yet in Canada?. We could in Illinois, but they changed it again. Now we can only eat outside.... Can you imagine how miserable that will be as it's getting on to winter. God bless...... linda
Hi Linda!!! Don't let politics get you down... 😄😄 If memory serves me correctly, they were asking $85 for the trunk... ?? There was a label on the inside of the lid but it was hard to read because of age and damage to it. You can see it on the video tho once we open the lid up. Yes everything where we live is open except for theaters.... but we have now just started a mandatory masks in indoor public spaces now. First time for mandatory masks here. I think the numbers are still relatively low here (our city) for infection rates tho. Stay safe!!! 🤗🤗
@@BargainBarons Hey Rob and Karen... That seems like a pretty good price for the steamer trunk. Mine doesn't have the tray either. I looked at (4.30) when you opened the lid. I could only see the artwork insert but not a mfg. label. Mine has a turquoise design insert...the same metal criss cross decorations on the lid...and tiny metal rollers on the bottom. It makes me happy... I saw that sign in the video showing the red and white 56 Chevy Bel air 2 door hard top coup. My parents bought me the turquoise and white model (used) in 1963. That was my car love of a life time... Sighhh💕.... I'm doing good....haven't done much treasure hunting.....but that's good, as I have tooo much stuff (oh-oh!). Thanks for answering my comment. Hi yeah I didn't think you'd be able to make out a manufacturer name, but thought if the labels were the same color or looked similar then you could be pretty certain they are the same, but if you were looking for the maker, I do not know. That car sounds cool!! I bet you loved it! My first convertible was a 1976 Triumph TR-7. Used, and I had it painted red so it was a hot red convertible, this was around early to mid 90's, LOL It was a british sports car and I had issues with it and loved it for a summer but couldn't keep p with the repairs so ended up selling it after a summer of fun with it. 😄😄
@@BargainBarons Haha.... I know what a Triumph was. I was just a kid and my dad (who was a mechanic) had a young (and handsome) mechanic friend who had one in dark green with a rag top. It was a gooood looking sports car. A lot older than yours, as that was about 1959. The cool young guy went on to be a minister. And the world...she keeps a chang'n. ✌
