I came across this tape around '90-'91..I was ten..it really stuck with me..why didn't this get any airplay? It's awesome stuff..the whole album is really good..
2nd album/CD was great as well. You can probably pick it up on eBay. ATCO records didn't seem to want to promote Flies. They decided to promote a band called Enuff Z Nuff instead. That band never did anything. Yeah... FOF should have been huge! 😥

Proud to say I added the track in 1990 while programming rock radio and played the hell out of it on the rock station I worked for. I thought for sure this was gonna be a smash. Guess I don't have good ears?! I had never seen this video though after all these years until now! Loved it! How was this not a hit record? I even used 'Shazam' this morning to see if it would recognize the song - it WAS on a major label - but, nope. It had no idea what this song was. :-( KILLER!

Loads of talent and energy. . Their version of "House of the Rising Sun" rocks. They should have recorded it. But didn't want to do 'others' work... I do have a live version on my site here. One of the greatest bands ever, amazing talent. Tim P is an incredible songwriter, singer and guitarist.
