"Excellent" Job Well Done, I Want #ONE The Truck Is 💯👊🏽👍🏽
Wow. You guys do social media right
Cool rig!
Thanks!
How about one on a F650 with a 4 to 500 gallon tank and a waterax BB4
Mike, here you go, but we'll see your single BB4 and double it. ;-) This was built on an F-550. www.qtacfire.com/blog/qtac-type-3
Waw awesome ❤️✅
Thanks 🤗
Could a truck like this be built with a hose bed for attack/supply line?
Absolutely. The top boxes are modular and can be configured with hose beds instead of storage. Thanks for the question!
What does this truck lack to be qualified for a type 5?
Hi Jeremy, it would just need additional water capacity, which isn't an issue. Type 5 is minimum 400G, this truck currently uses 300G.
So little water tank.
How long it last???
How do you fight a fire with so little water???
This is a pretty typical size tank for a Type 6 brush truck. How long it lasts is dependent on the operator, nozzle, throttle settings, etc. It's amazing what you can do with 300 gallons, some hand tools and a knowledgeable crew. You can also draft.
How much does this vehicle cost?
Hi John, around $260K as it sits, but a few options removed can drop that considerably.
@@qtacfire Thank you.
Do you take order from anyone who wants to a business in rescue or anyone who wants a personal Emergency vehicle
How much would it theoretically cost for a civilian to buy one..?
At the time this truck sold for just over $260K. Now, closer to $285K, depending on options.
Do you provide interior gun rack mounts as an option for the Super SAR
We don't typically, but have in the past.
Do you also make the super 6 without the water pump
Yes, we call that our Super SAR (Search and Rescue). If you'd like information you can reach out to sales@qtacfire.com. Thanks!
Can you custom build a vehicle
To some degree, yes, but we prefer to start with an already established design. It depends on how custom you want to get.
