Thanks for the update !
🙏Thank you, Responders.
Hallo liefern sie auch nach Deutschland?
Unfortunately we don't have any German distributors.
F550 ergibt in Deutschland keinen Sinn.
👏👏👏👏
Beautiful trucks polaries but must to be made from iron not blastic it's not toy
Yay on the FireComm. I cannot hear anything above 25mph in our Mule. A must have.
awesome unit!
Do you have a suction hose with the unit? How long is the hose? Thanks
Yes, the draft hose is an option. It's 20 ft. long.
Will this fit in a midsize truck like the jeep gladiator or ford ranger?
I believe so but we'd need to confirm bed dimensions.
Do you provide interior gun rack mounts as an option for the Super SAR
We don't typically, but have in the past.
Do you also make the super 6 without the water pump
Yes, we call that our Super SAR (Search and Rescue). If you'd like information you can reach out to sales@qtacfire.com. Thanks!
Do you take order from anyone who wants to a business in rescue or anyone who wants a personal Emergency vehicle
Why is the 70T listed on your UTV/ATV skid page then
Thank you for the comment! We are actively working on website updates to separate the Lite Truck skids from the UTV skids. Stay tuned for updated pages.
Hey @petervenkman2297 We have updated our Truck skid page to showcase all the skids built for trucks. Thanks again for the comment! www.qtacfire.com/truck-skids
It doesn’t look very tall if you don’t have a hose real on top could you put an EMS skid
Thanks for the comment! It is pretty high up there when it is in the back of a truck and we do not advise putting any EMS Rescue platforms on top of it. You could use that space for other gear or storage items however. 👍
Why f550 and not f450
The 550 has a higher GVWR (19,500 lbs).
What is your price on the QTac 3 ?
That will depend on options, but the range is between $295K-$350K approximately. Thanks for watching!
What is the Tank Capacity, and GPM of the Pump ?
You know, sometimes you finish a video and realize you've left out some crucial information! Sorry about that. It's a 300-gallon tank. The Weapon is rated at 250GPM @ 150psi for water, 220GPM @ 100 psi while flowing foam simultaneously.
DON bhatia
Thanks for the Comment!
Is it possible to mount 2 blitzfires or one portable monitor on the roof rack? What would the max gpm be taking in safety considerations?
We haven't used the Blitzfires on a UTV, but as long as the pump can keep up with the nozzle and gpm requirements, it would work. With an 85 gallon tank, we wouldn't want more than about a 10-15 gpm output.
@@qtacfire sorry, I wasn't clear. I meant for structure attack...pumper supplying the water.... 1000+ gpm.
@@jeffpitoniak Ah, got it. Interesting idea. Wish we had a definitive answer, but that would take some testing. It seems hose management could be an issue in that scenario. There are some unmanned, tracked systems on the market that might make more sense for this application.
@@qtacfire too much money and single use. Thinking stationary use. Warehouses, master stream ops, exposure protection...
@@jeffpitoniak If taken in and parked in place, that could work. Not something we've seen before though.
Cool rig!
Thanks!
I plan on buying one in the next year or so. However, I would like to get a 300 gallon tank and the tank drain, I would prefer to have a bulkhead fitting instead the plug with the wingnut on it.
We can do 300 gallons in a long bed. The short bed gets a bit too high for that capacity. Let us know when you order and we can accommodate the bulkhead fitting as well. Thanks for the interest!
Great introduction but its not addressed to any sales or location needs to be a priority with alternative dispatches need a place and oppritunity to find it that is without the internet the competitiveness was well and not bad
The possibilitys are endless these companies that has been around for so long are now showing off their enterprises and investments positive changes and career possibilities are on the rise
How long can this run off battery?
Depends on a lot of variables (just like electric cars). If you're at full pressure it's going to limit it, but backing down to 75% takes it out over four hours. If you're connected to the vehicle's battery power that extends it almost indefinitely. Still in final configuration testing.
@@qtacfire that's reasonable amount of time.
Looks like a Dramm 😂turn off valve
Yep! Dramm makes the 1/4 turn shut off.
This would be very good to protect your property in the event of a forest fire
Whelen siren button?
All done through the multiplex.
Love the line “tell the story of good fire”. Well done!! 🔥🔥🔥
I want to say I absolutely love it! I'm a little jealous you beat me to it haha I have been designing and planning a electric unit since 2014. You're guys nailed it! Electric fire skids are the future for safety and efficiency.
Thanks for the comment! We are pretty proud of the unit!
You gotta give some to us here in Kentucky it's starting to get a little smokey

@qtac why dont you build a "" FIER WALL "" take 7 or more ROHR or what ever needed DEPENDING ON PUMP PRESIUR AND CAPASETY.. start with a 3" / 2.5" make a 3 angel support maybe 4m High 2on every 6M section.. put 3 4 5 high power MISTH nossels .The type ... making 4M - 8M Radius Water spray ... combine the rohr using Figher proof rubber oil hose .. make every copling same sice just go from 2.5 to 2 to 1.5 to 1 test how meny 2.5 you can run together befor you go down in 2.0.. ofcorse if you know water Runtruh at a given presiur you easy can make a spray wall to protect any house or ranche ... old agrigation pipe in 4 5 6 m hight ... nothing will pass "" FIER WALL """ just a thought... or on the roof top and otside the ""gutter on a house it will be inclosed in cooling figher proof misth ... i wonder why you havent ... Corneret that Yet and oooh BTW if you think this si a good idea... i would werymutch like a trip to us ... bets regards.. hope you corner "" fir Wall "" First .. ((by after thought dont make all coplings alike decrease sice so no not so bright can put small diameter rohr first IN LINE saad to say we also have not so bright ppl in denmark .. """)))
AS a RULE OF THUM 1.ATm = 10m OF WATER COLLUM 61PSI = 4+ATM = 40m WATER CULLOM SO DEPENIDING ON NOSSEL 61PSI IS 40+M THROWING LENGHT .... ON 10M/30Feet 1" HOSE!! INDPORTANT FOR EVERY 10M/30Feet YOU GOT PRESSIUR DROP.. Depending on Hose 5 to 10PSI .. 40M water cullom .. if you pump up a HILL to a hight of 40M water wil not run out of the hose !! so depending on Hose and WATER PRESIUR ... i prefur the 85 with 120PSi / 8,1 ATm = 80+Meter Water cullom you can hose down things atleast 80Meters or 262Feet away.. NOW THATA F R E A K I N AWSOM !!! and i would build a 2 3 4 5 x250Gallon TRAILOR ... BECAUSE... WHOM BRING THE BIG GUN TO A FIER FIGHT ALWAYS WIN::: PERIOD Greetings from DENMARK not to toot my own horn .. we know stuff in Denmark..
There is another use for your auntie basket holder.. since you have a 1 inch discharge ... Supposed to be easily removed if you need to put a basket in there and if the bundles is built right and you use straps to hold it together when you take it off the rack it won't fall apart and just be spaghetti in the back of your UTV.. . Just give people options to do things.. least you could strap down your drafting hose kit where is well.. or you could put your foam the bucket there .. or combination of flat lay hose and foam container... F4 your systems to do not have foam çells pok and ttf have 2.5 portable foam system/tank.. or you can make you own..
I need this for my POV. I'm always the first on scene
Is there any way I can obtain a make or part number for those fan units you put in the compartments? I think that would work great for keeping my tools dry in my service truck as well
I'm from phillipnes..can you design the tank ..I'm ah fire volonter .I want to built ah fire truck
Yes, we build tanks as well.
So little water tank. How long it last??? How do you fight a fire with so little water???
This is a pretty typical size tank for a Type 6 brush truck. How long it lasts is dependent on the operator, nozzle, throttle settings, etc. It's amazing what you can do with 300 gallons, some hand tools and a knowledgeable crew. You can also draft.
This is so fucking fire 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you!
So could this be ordered without a pump?
Thanks for the question. Unfortunately we don't sell our finished skids without pumps, only as complete units. What sort of pump would you be looking for?
@@qtacfire One that I already have here at home. lol
ROBIN S DUNN SD SHERIFF CAL FIRE Rescue 10 N449RC
Is this on Spotify?
Yes it is. Just search QTAC podcast.
Very unique truck, have you guys ever thought of doing something on the 650 chassis? Seen a few pumpers, rescues and brush trucks with the body of a 650, pretty interesting and particuarly appeals to rural midwest towns from what I've seen.
Hi Panda man, thanks for the comment. We've only done a couple of 650 builds in the past, but agree with you that it's a great platform for a build. Right now our backlog of 550s is pretty deep, but as we start to get through that it'll be worth revisiting our 650 designs. Thanks!
@@qtacfire Well then, thank you for your time and good luck with those orders!
Perfect truck ❤ Do you guys just selling in United State market or you can do international shipping
180psi max pressure?? Not a good wildland pump. Type 6 needs pressure capabilities much higher. This pump might work for a quick attack, car fire, single 1 1/2 or 1 3/4 attack line type apparatus.
Agree to some extent. If you're looking strictly for a wildland truck we'd put the BB4 in, which is a 440 psi pump. This truck was geared more for municipalities and VFD's in the WUI, which often times have a wide variety of calls. However, the B2X in this truck might surprise you with its capability. Thanks for the comment and for watching!
Nice truck, looks very functional.
