      Jordan Davis Just the structure itself is a complex design. It takes a long time to design and 3D print parts. The programming of the flight computer takes skill too.

    That was amazing , so stable in-flight the way it revs up just before take off figures out flying control position like its getting a feel for the wind and enviroment and tjen up it goes, absolutely fantastic, well done Joe great work .

    that's just impressive, granted i know a lot of stuff on how to build stuff like this is out there. But the amount of work and general knowledge needed to make something like this is not a small task. Then add in the fact you are doing this pretty much by yourself, is just crazy.

      Itar needs to be deregulated on the knowledge ( imagine of aircraft was to same way as peace time commercial aviation I bet we wouldn’t see as many if any passengers services aka no American Airlines ) side and not so much on the manufacturing side as to protect local workers and regional government. The reason why I feel and think 🤔 this way is because it’s stifling innovation and protecting “ the old boys club “ plus most of the modernised 1 world country’s and trying to start space taxes aka maned space economies or at least that’s what there publicising to the general public.
      Besides which Cold War secrets are no more for the most part ( and evan if it was that’s what spy’s do for $ and or r&d money is for if you’re ussr ) and some fairly average people have seen things like rocket 🚀 engines and or parts and not every one what’s one for the garage the same thing and airplanes or is a terrorist / evil soviet spy 😂

    Really impressed with the Emergency Landing Failure Recovery and Touch-down Stability Device. Is that run on some sort of A.I. program or just sensor reactive? It looked like it was actually holding it's breath a few times.

    Love your vids, keep up the good work! If I had any real money I would probably donate to your patreon. I know you said you were just about finished with sprite, but when I looked at the translational motion I couldn’t help but think that maybe you could add some thrust diversions, like jet intakes with valves to give a kinda RCS type effect, but powered directly by the fan. Looking forwards to sprint, love you

    Hi MR. BEPIS! Have u thought of putting springs on the landing legs to help Sprite land more smoothly and without a jolt on impact? U can add them on the end of each leg end and the "cushion" system could be like a pen's spring(without the lock in place mechanism).

    Great video Joe. Could you explain the reasoning behind the throttle control when transitioning from hover to descent? It looks like you give it a blip of thrust, then cut it and then increase again, rather than a smooth reduction to start the descent.

    what a great idea! when you where flying it in the wind i noticed that it seems like the auto adjust gain might be too high, was overshooting a bit there.
