@@jamesbutler9771 There's a series of Japanese games by Sega called Yakuza. In it, the main protagonist for most of the games: Kiryu Kazama, has a rival/friend named Goro Majima who's a little quirky. He has a unique way of addressing our main character by using his first name in a very familiar way which is "Kiryu-chan!" You can search for more context with this information, if you'd like.
