It’s such a strange fetish being excited by gym equipment but there are so many of us that are, I honestly am jealous that Coup gets to do this as a job but also I have followed him from the beginning and he has become the guru for all equipment I truly believe all gym equipment manufacturers watch his reviews and take on bored what he has to say. There is something truly special about a piece of gym equipment that is both aesthetic and functional and I know I’m sounding like a true geek now but if you are a true lifter I bet like me you have spent countless hours looking at what equipment you would buy if you had both the money and space. I have the ER equipment combo rack. It has a lot of the features that this has, the only difference is that rubber so you don't mess up the knurling on the bar. I've had my rack for 2,5 years now. And it has removed some of the knurling on my rogue powerbar. Those rubber bits would have kept that nice. I would probably have purchased the rogue combo rack, this seems to expensive.

Unless you are a high level competitive lifter or have cash in piss off amounts then nah. You can get an entire gym from a major manufacturer for what this cost. Bars, rack, calibrated plates, etc.

Please can you review and compare this to other high end combo racks such as Eleiko and Rogue. A lot of the 'unique' features the ghost rack has the other combos share or have approached them differently to find solutions so would be a good comparison review for the powerlifting community.

Not a fan of the ER Rack, it's been passed over by pretty much everyone. This is for someone that wants something custom and has the money to spend. Wouldn't say it's necessarily better than Rogue's, they both have different benefits, just a very different animal.

can you recommend a good rack that I can outfit for under $1000? I saw the review on the myrack but you seemed to have reservations. I am in now way a heavy lifter but want to be able to squat at home and I want something safe for a good price, that one day I can have a complete full gym at home
If you have the cash maybe. I have an RM4 and I like it. If you want accessories first the Monster generally gets them first. From a functional standpoint no difference between the two.

Combo Racks have always had the ability to adjust the uprights in or out, Ghost just made it look a lot nicer.
Definitely, the joint/cam design is what they have patented. Cool idea.

Is it worth upgrading from the Rogue monster lite to the monster series? Been debating over the last few months.
If you have the cash maybe. I have an RM4 and I like it. If you want accessories first the Monster generally gets them first. From a functional standpoint no difference between the two.
I prefer the Monster series, but the differences aren't crazy dramatic. More aesthetic than functional differences other than attachment options.
